commissioning of the product.

Safety information
The use of a Franke Pro M / Pro M
Connect lter is mandatory to protect the
product against limescale deposits.
After storage at 0°C, the lter must rst
be stored for 24 hours at room temperature
before it is installed.
Only cold, potable-quality water may be
used to supply the system.
All components must be stored dry
within a temperature limit of -15°C to 45°C
(5°F to 113°F).
The system must be sited in a frost-
proof place and be protected from direct
sunlight.
The system must not come in contact
with chemicals, solvents or other vapours.
Before commissioning the lter system,
the appliance must be free of limescale.
The lter cartridge must not be opened
or damaged.
Do not use with water that is
microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection before
or after the system.
After a longer downtime or maintenance
work rinse the system thoroughly.
We recommend replacing the lter
cartridge no later than 12 months depending
on usage.
Replacing the lter, a small amount
water may escape from the ush hose.
Please place a suitable container underneath
the ush hose.

Product information
Function
All Franke lters reduce heavy metal ions like
lead, copper and cadmium. The integrated
active carbon block reduces undesirable
cloudiness, organic impurities, odour and
taste and chlorine residue from the ltered
water. Additionally, the Pro M and Pro M
Connect lters use ion-selective lter
medium to reduce the carbonate hardness of
potable water.
The patented mineral stabilization allows the
use of high blending levels, ensuring high
capacity, stable pH and best taste.

Sicherheitshinweise
Es muss unbedingt ein Franke Pro M
/ Pro M Connect Filter verwendet werden,
um das Produkt vor Kalkablagerungen zu
schützen.
Nachdem der Filter bei 0°C gelagert
wurde, muss er vor der Installation zunächst
über einen Zeitraum von 24Stunden bei
Raumtemperatur aufbewahrt werden.
Für die Versorgung der Anlage darf
nur kaltes Wasser in Trinkwasserqualität
verwendet werden.
Alle Komponenten müssen trocken und
in einem Temperaturbereich von -15 °C bis
45 °C (5 °F bis 113 °F) gelagert werden.
Die Anlage muss frostsicher aufgestellt
und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
geschützt werden.
Die Anlage darf nicht mit Chemikalien,
Lösungsmitteln oder anderen Dämpfen in
Berührung kommen.
Vor Inbetriebnahme der Filteranlage
muss das Gerät kalkfrei sein.
Die Filterpatrone darf nicht geönet
oder beschädigt sein.
Die Anlage nicht mit mikrobiologisch
bedenklichem Wasser oder mit Wasser
unbekannter Qualität ohne ausreichende
Desinfektion davor oder danach verwenden.
Nach längerem Stillstand oder
Wartungsarbeiten die Anlage gründlich
durchspülen.
Wir empfehlen, die Filterpatrone je
nach Nutzung spätestens nach 12 Monaten
auszutauschen.
Beim Filteraustausch kann eine kleine
Menge Wasser aus dem Spülschlauch
austreten. Bitte stellen Sie einen geeigneten
Behälter unter den Spülschlauch.
