GB | Wireless Door
chime
The set consists of a doorbel
l button (transmitter) and a chime (receiver). The
chime is powered by 3× 1.5 V AAA batteries. T
ransmission between the button
and the chime is carries via radio waves at a frequency o
f 433.92 MHz. The
range depends on local conditions and reaches up to 100 m in open spaces
without interference. The se
t has a so-called self-learning function – the
button
is able to generate its own pairing code
which is then received by the chime and
stored in its memory. The set can thus be e
xpanded with additional buttons.
The self-learning function also prevents the se
t from aecting neighbouring
doorbells. For proper usage of the wir
eless doorbell, read the ins
truction
manual thoroughly
.

Pairing the Button with the Chime
1.
Remove the rear co

hole on the bottom side. Insert a 3 V battery, type CR2032, into the but-
ton. When inserting a battery, make sure to observe the corr
ect polarity!
Replace the battery cover.
2.
Insert 3× 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries into the chime (a red LED will ash).
When inserting the batteries, make sure to observe the correct polarity
.
Do not use 1.2 V rechargeable batteries; the lo
wer voltage may prev
ent
the chime from working. Replace the battery cover
. If you wish to power
the chime via the micro USB port, connect the micro USB cable to a pow
er
adapter (not included) and the chime, then plug the adapter into a socket.
3.
Long press the
button (for ca. 5 seconds); the LED on the chime will
light up red. The chime will switch to sel
f-learning pairing mode which
lasts for 30 seconds. During this time, press the ring butt
on. The chime
will ring, the LED on the chime will turn o, and the button is no
w paired
with the chime. This automatically ends self-learning mode.
4.
T
o pair multiple buttons, repeat the process for each button fr
om step 1.
Note: The chime has an internal memory where it stores the codes o
f the
currently pair
ed buttons. Therefor
e, there is no need to pair buttons again
after replacing batteries. Ev
ery time batteries are changed in a doorbell, the
currently set ringt
one will sound.
Wiping the Memory of Paired Buttons
1.
Remove the batteries from the chime or disc
onnect the micro USB cable.
2.
Press and hold the
button.
3.
Insert batteries back into the chime or reconnect the USB cable (while
still holding the
button).
4.
A red LED will light up on the chime within appro

5.
Release the
button; the red LED will turn o.
6.
This erases the memory of all paired buttons.

1.
Begin by pairing the button with the chime.
2.
Before instal
lation, check that the pair works reliably in the chosen spot.
3.
Remove the mounting pad from the battery cover
, see gure 3.
4.
Use the double-sided adhesive tape (included) or two screws to x the back

illumination indicating the button has sent a radio signal. The chime plays
the selected ringtone.
Note: The doorbell button (transmitter) can be placed on w
ood or brick walls
without issue. However
, never place the button directly onto metal objects or
materials containing metal, such as plastic windows or doors that ha
ve a metal
frame. In such cases, the transmitter will not work pr
operly
.
Installing the Chime (Receiver)
1.
The doorbell is intended for indoor use only
.
2.
The transmission range (max. 100 m) is inuenced b
y local conditions,
such as the number of walls through which the signal pas
ses, metal door
frames and other elements which aect the transmission o
f radio signals
(presence of other radio de
vices operating at a similar frequency
, such
as wireless thermometers, gate c
ontrols etc.). T
ransmission range can
decrease drasticall
y due to these factors.
T
roubleshooting
The chime does not ring:
•
The chime may be out of range.
•
Change the distance between the button and the chime; the range may
be aected by local conditions.
•
The button battery may be drained.
•
Replace the battery. Make sur
e it has the correct polarity
. Pair the
button with the chime again.
•
The chime is not powered.
•
Check the batteries in the chime, or replace with new ones.
Upkeep and Maintenance
The wireless digital doorchime is a sensitive electr
