EN INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Thank you very much for choosing a Humberg product.
The manual contains important instructions for safety, use and disposal of the device. Please read the
instructions before using the product and keep them for future reference.
The equipment complies with European Standard EN 1494:2000+A1:2008.
Symbols used on the device and in the Instruction manual
Before using the appliance, carefully read the Instruction manual and safety recommenda-
tions before using the appliance. Keep the instructions.
The use of protective gloves is recommended.
Never stay under a raised vehicle.
Never use the jack for lifting, levelling or stabilising caravans and other building structures.
Always secure a raised vehicle with workshop stands.
Lock the unlifted wheels on both sides.
⚠ Warnings!
Failure to comply with these warnings can lead to serious injury to you, your vehicle or the
machine.
• Read the manual and the health and safety regulations applicable in your area carefully before
operating the machine.
• The illustrations in the manual are for reference only and may differ from the actual appearance of
the product.
• Familiarise yourself with the components of the equipment before using it.
• Practice working with the equipment. If in doubt, ask a specialist to explain its functions and wor-
king techniques.
• The use of protective gloves is recommended.
• Carefully check the condition of the equipment before working with the lift.
• Avoid being underneath a raised vehicle.
• Do not use the jack to lift, level or stabilise caravans or any building structures.

• Always secure a raised vehicle with workshop supports. Lock the wheels, which are not lifted, on
both sides.
• The jack is only to be used for lifting vehicles with a total weight not exceeding the value shown on
the rating plate. Do not overload the jack.
• Do not lift the vehicle if there is a passenger inside.
• Do not use the jack to lift people or animals.
• Do not use the lift under adverse conditions (e.g. extreme climate conditions, strong magnetic
fields) or in areas subject to special rules (e.g. explosive atmospheres, mines).
• Do not use the lift when there is a risk of wind pressure during use.
• Do not use the lift when it shows signs of wear.
• Do not place loads on the lift whose nature may lead to dangerous situations (e.g. molten metal,
acids, radiating materials, especially brittle loads).
• Do not use on ships.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity. Do not use when the effort generated may exceed the
values indicated on the rating plate.
• Use only original spare parts offered by the service or manufacturer.
• Avoid loose clothing and jewellery when using the lift. Keep long hair up.
• Do not use additional supports or extensions without consulting a qualified person.
• Always wear safety goggles.
• Only use the lift on a hard and flat surface.
• Make sure the object to be lifted is firmly placed on the jack and there is no risk of it falling or
moving.
• Never leave the jack under load.
• Secure the vehicle against the possibility of spontaneous movement or falling before lifting.
• Keep a first aid kit nearby in case of injury.
• Avoid direct contact between equipment and food.
Prerequisites prior to use
Do not operate the lift until the following conditions have been met:
• Read the Instruction manual and ensure that you fully understand it.
• Be aware of possible hazards associated with the use of the lift.
• Familiarise yourself with the Instruction manual of the vehicle being lifted, particularly the infor-
mation on lifting.
• Check carefully the support points provided for the type of vehicle and ensure that they are not
objectionable.
• Carry out a full inspection of the jack, including all its functions.
• Secure the vehicle against spontaneous movement. Lock the transmission, apply the parking brake
or, if it is a car with an automatic transmission, set it to the P position.
• Ensure that the lifting point of the vehicle meets the required standards. The weight of the vehicle
must be carried on the small points of contact between the jack wheels and the ground, so as not
to damage the wrong surface under pressure.
• Use personal protective equipment such as face protection and protective gloves. Due to the high
force generated during lifting, if any of the contact points break, parts or components may be laun-
ched at high speed.

Usage (Fig. II)
LIFTING (1)
1. Check that the wheels of the vehicle being lifted are secured and that the gearbox is engaged and
the parking brake is applied.
2. Insert the wrench into the hoop.
3. Ensure that the jack and the vehicle are on a flat, stable surface and that the load is properly
positioned on the jack saddle. Failure to do so may cause the vehicle to slip or damage the jack.
4. Turn the wrench clockwise to raise the load to the desired height.
NOTE: When turning the wrench, use smooth and steady movements to prevent the jack from
shifting out from under the load.
5. Secure the vehicle using appropriate workshop stands.
LOWERING (2)
1. Remove the stands and ensure that no persons or objects are under the vehicle.
2. Carefully turn the wrench counterclockwise in a slow, smooth motion. Sudden or jerky movements
may cause the load to drop rapidly, which may result in damage or personal injury.
3. Do not move the jack until the load has been completely lowered.
NOTE: If the vehicle slips off the jack, carefully inspect the jack. Any scratches, paint damage, or dents
indicate that the jack is defective and must not be used.
Maintenance
• Maintenance and repairs should be carried out by qualified persons.
• Do not carry out any modifications to the unit yourself.
• Use a soft cloth or compressed air to clean the lift. Keep the lift clean and lubricate regularly every
three months.
• Avoid exposing the lift to harmful weather conditions such as rain, snow and moisture. Corrosion
can significantly weaken the load carrying capacity of the jack.
• Carefully inspect the lift for cracks, damage or loose parts.
• Clean the lift handles and frame before working.
NOTE: Always wear protective items such as goggles and gloves when carrying out maintenance
work.
