Thank you for choosing a Humberg product. This manual contains important safety, operating and
disposal instructions. Before use, please read and retain this document for future reference. The fol-
lowing warnings comply with legal requirements. Failure to observe these rules may result in serious
injury, equipment damage or voided warranty.

User Safety
• Warning! While using the device, always follow health and safety regulations, local laws, and gene-
ral workshop guidelines.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment: Always wear safety glasses, work gloves, hearing
protection, and a dust mask to protect yourself from dust, debris, and noise generated during
operation.
• Do not use the device if fatigued or under the influence of substances: Operating the sander
requires full concentration. Do not use it if you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or
medications that affect your ability to assess situations.
• Keep a safe distance from others: Ensure that no other persons, especially children, are in the work
area to avoid accidental injuries.
Device Operation Safety
• Warning! Before changing accessories or servicing, disconnect the air supply.
• Check the condition of the device: Before each use, ensure that the sander is in good working con-
dition. Do not use the device with damaged parts, air hoses, or a leaking pneumatic system.
• Use appropriate air pressure: Connect the sander to a compressed air source with pressure in
accordance with the specifications. Excessive pressure may damage the device or cause an
accident.
• Secure the workpiece: Ensure that the workpiece is firmly secured to prevent movement during
sanding.
Operating Conditions
• Work in a well-ventilated area: Sanding generates dust that may be harmful to health. Ensure that
the workspace is well-ventilated or equipped with a dust extraction system.
• Avoid humid environments: Do not use the sander in wet or moist conditions to prevent damage to
the device and the risk of electric shock when connected to inappropriate systems.
• Lighting: Work in a well-lit area to ensure precision and safety during operation.
• Use in a suitable, clean, and tidy workspace, free of unwanted materials and ensure proper
lighting.

Regulations and Standards
• The user is responsible for complying with local health and safety regulations.
• Device disposal: After the device's operational life ends, dispose of it in accordance with regula-
tions for electronic and pneumatic waste (WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU).
Maintenance Warnings
• Warning! Do not use the sander if fatigued or under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol, or medi-
cations.
• Disconnect power before maintenance: Always disconnect the sander from the compressed air
source before cleaning, adjusting, or replacing accessories.
• Use only original spare parts: Using non-original accessories or parts can lead to damage to the
device or void the warranty.
Usage Warnings
• Warning! Do not use the sander in areas with flammable liquids, solids, or gases such as paint
thinners, waste rags, or cleaning cloths.
• Warning! Do not carry the sander by the air hose, nor yank the hose from the air supply.
• Check the workpiece to ensure that there are no protruding screws, nuts, nails, stones, etc.
• Secure the tool against accidental activation.
• Warning! Do not direct air from the air hose directly onto yourself or others.
Additional Warnings
• Regularly check the alignment of moving parts.
• Do not allow children or unauthorized persons in the work area.
• Ensure that the workpiece is securely mounted before starting the operation. Never hold the
workpiece by hand.
• Do not use the sander for tasks it was not designed for.
• Prolonged exposure to vibration caused by the sander may pose a health hazard. The operator is
responsible for properly assessing potential hazards and issuing guidelines regarding safe opera-
ting periods, ensuring proper protective equipment.
• Ensure that the air pressure is maintained properly and is not exceeded.
• Warning! Do not sand any materials containing asbestos.
• Use face protection, dust masks, or respiratory protection according to COSHH regulations.
• Ensure the sander is protected from accidental activation during maintenance or accessory repla-
cement.

• Warning! Do not carry the sander by the hose, nor yank the hose from the air supply.
• Warning! When the device is not in use, disconnect the air supply and store it in a safe, dry place
out of the reach of children.

Preparation for Operation
CHECKING THE CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGE
• Ensure that all items listed in the set are present in the package.
• If any items are missing, contact the supplier or manufacturer.
PREPARING THE COMPRESSED AIR SOURCE
• Connect the sander to a compressed air source with parameters that meet the device's require-
ments.
• Ensure that the compressor is equipped with an air filter and pressure regulator to prevent conta-
mination or moisture from entering the pneumatic system.
• Check the air hoses and connections for leaks to avoid air loss.
MOUNTING THE SANDING DISC
• Warning! Before mounting the disc, disconnect the sander from the air supply.
• Choose a sanding disc appropriate for the material being worked on (e.g., wood, metal, plastics)
and with a maximum speed that matches the device specifications.
• Mount the disc on the sander’s holder, ensuring that it is correctly seated and secured according to
the disc manufacturer's instructions.
• Check that the disc is securely mounted and does not exhibit any looseness or damage.
PREPARING THE WORKSPACE
• Ensure that the workspace is clean, well-lit, and free from flammable materials such as solvents,
paints, or rags.
• Secure the workpiece in a vise or with other stable holders to prevent movement during sanding.
• Prepare a dust extraction system or ensure adequate ventilation to minimize exposure to sanding
dust.
PRE-OPERATIONAL CHECK
• Check the sander's technical condition: ensure that all moving parts are properly aligned and that
the housing and pneumatic hoses are undamaged.
• Ensure that the power lever is in the off position before connecting to the air supply.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, a dust mask,
and hearing protection.
Operation
STARTING THE SANDER
• Connect the pneumatic hose to the sander’s connection, ensuring a secure fit.
• Set the pressure regulator on the compressor to the value specified by the manufacturer.
• With both hands on the sander, press the power lever to start the device. Gradually increase the
pressure to control the rotational speed.
