1 Unclip the battery cover on the
underside of the scale by pushing
the clip inwards and then lifting off.
Remove the plastic film between the
battery and its connector by pulling
on the red tab , this will allow the
unit to function.
Note - During use, if the battery
symbol ‘ ’ appears in the display,
it means that battery power is low
and the batteries should be replaced
(see service).
to weigh
Always place the scale on a dry and
flat surface prior to weighing.
Press the ‘on/zero’ touch pad to
switch on. When the display shows
‘0’, place the item to be weighed
onto the platform. The weight will
appear on the display.
Note:-
GThe scale will read ‘ ’ if it is
trying to weigh above its capacity.
to select weighing units
After switching on the scale, press
the ‘unit’ touch pad. Each time the
touch pad is pressed the weighing
unit displayed will alternate between
g and lb oz.
to add and weigh
After the weight is displayed, press
the ‘on/zero’ touch pad once and
the display will flash twice and then
return to ‘0’. Add the next ingredient
and the weight of that ingredient will
be displayed. This can be repeated
until all the ingredients are weighed.
GWhen removing an item from the
scale during add and weigh, a ‘-’ will
appear in the display to represent a
minus reading.
Note:-
GThe maximum weighing capacity is
8 Kg/17 lb 9 oz. This is the total
weight of all ingredients plus the
weight of the container.
auto switch off:
Automatic switch off will occur if the
scale shows the same weight
reading for 3 minutes.
manual switch off:
To conserve the battery power,
switch off the scale when not in use.
To do this, press and hold the
‘on/zero’ touch pad until the display
disappears.
cleaning
Do not immerse the scale in water.
Wipe over the scale with a damp
cloth, then dry thoroughly. Do not
use abrasive or chemical agents to
clean.

GThe scale is for domestic use only.
GAlways ensure the weighing platform
is thoroughly clean before placing
items directly on its surface.
GWhen weighing do not place items
on the edge of the weighing
platform, always place them in the
centre.
GDo not overload the scale by
exceeding the maximum weighing
capacity of 8Kg/17lb 9oz as this
may damage the weighing sensor.
GDo not place hot food or hot
containers such as saucepans onto
the weighing platform.
GNever cut food on the weighing
platform as sharp implements such
as knives will damage the surface.
GDo not subject the scale to
excessive force.
GDo not stand the scale near an oven
or other direct source of heat.

Replacement battery
Use 1 x CR2032 battery.
To install a new battery, unclip the
battery cover on the underside of the
scale by pushing the clip inwards
and then lifting off. Remove the old
battery and fit the replacement, then
clip the battery cover back into
place.
Disposal of the old battery
Follow the instructions for the
correct disposal of the product.

1 Maak de plaat van het batterijvak
aan de onderkant van de
weegschaal los door de klem naar
binnen te duwen en de plaat

kan het apparaat werken.
NB: Als tijdens het gebruik het

om het apparaat in te schakelen. Als

Nadat het gewicht wordt

weergegeven. Deze procedure kan
worden herhaald tot alle ingrediënten
gewogen zijn.
GWanneer u een artikel tijdens het
'toevoegen en wegen' van de
weegschaal af haalt, verschijnt er
een '-' op het display, wat een
afname aangeeft.
Opmerking:
GHet maximum weegvermogen
bedraagt 8 kg. Dit is het
totaalgewicht van alle ingrediënten
plus het gewicht van de houder.

onderhoud
De batterij vervangen
Gebruik 1 x CR2032-batterij.
Om een nieuwe batterij te installeren,
maakt u de plaat van het batterijvak
aan de onderkant van de
weegschaal los door de klem naar
binnen te duwen en de plaat
vervolgens te verwijderen. Verwijder
de oude batterij, vervang hem met
de nieuwe batterij en klem de
afdekplaat vervolgens weer op zijn
plaats vast.
De oude batterij wegwerpen
Volg de aanwijzingen voor de juiste
afvoer van het product.
GAls u assistentie wenst bij het
gebruik van uw weegschaal, neem

u de weegschaal hebt gekocht.

Aan het einde van de levensduur van
het product mag het niet samen met
het gewone huishoudelijke afval
worden verwerkt. Het moet naar een
speciaal centrum voor gescheiden
afvalinzameling van de gemeente
worden gebracht, of naar een
verkooppunt dat deze service
verschaft. Het apart verwerken van een
huishoudelijk apparaat voorkomt
mogelijke gevolgen voor het milieu en
de gezondheid die door een
ongeschikte verwerking ontstaan en
zorgt ervoor dat de materialen waaruit
het apparaat bestaat, teruggewonnen
kunnen worden om een aanmerkelijke
besparing van energie en grondstoffen
te verkrijgen. Om op de verplichting tot
gescheiden verwerking van elektrische
huishoudelijke apparatuur te wijzen, is
op het product het symbool van een
doorgekruiste vuilnisbak aangebracht.
