Attachthealarmtothemountingbracketandturnclockwisetolockintoplace.Removethemembraneofdoublesided
adhesivetapeonthemountingbracket.

3. Faultscausedbydirt,dustandoiletc.(RefertoForm1)Pleasecleanthesmokedetectorcorrectly.
Muteandtest
Pleasemakesurethereisnorealfiredangerwhenusingmutefunction.Ifnon‐emergencysmoke(e.g.Steam)causes
nuisancealarms,pleasedonotstopalarmbyblocksmokedetectororinotherforms.Youcouldpressthemute/testbutton
tostopalarmtemporarily.(Tenminuteslater,thesmokedetectorwillbebacktonormalworkingcondition)
Pressandreleasethetestbuttontotestthealarm.Thealarmwillsoundloudshortbeeps.Itmeansthesmokedetectorcan
worknormally.Thealarmmaystopsoundingoncereleasingthetestbutton.Itissuggestedtotestthesmokealarmatleast
onetimeeveryweek.Donotuseanopenflametotestthissmokealarm.
Flatceilingmounting
Weknowsmokerisesuptoceiling,thenwilllateralspread,sothebestlocationofanalarmisusuallythecentreofceiling.Do
notinstallsmokedetectorinthedeadairarea(asshowninthebelowfigure),besideskeepatleast30cmdistancefromlights
orotherdecorations.Ifhallislongerthan12meters,pleaseinstallatleast2smokealarms.
