Safety, performance, and dependability have been given
top priority in the design of your tripod area light.
INTENDED USE
The tripod area light is intended for general illumination
of most work area spaces. Do not use the product in wet
conditions.
Do not use the product for any other purpose. Use of the
product for operations different from intended could result
in a hazardous situation.
TRIPOD AREA LIGHT SAFETY WARNINGS
ŶThe light source contained in this luminaire shall only be
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a
similar qualified person.
ŶUse only with recommended battery pack and charger.
Any attempt to use another battery pack will cause
damage to the product and could possibly explode,
cause a fire, or personal injury.
ŶDo not disassemble the product.
ŶThe product is non-dimmable; do not connect with any
dimmers.
ŶIf wrapped or in contact with fabrics, the lens can
produce sufficient heat to melt some fabrics. To avoid
serious personal injury, never allow the lens to come in
contact with anything.
ŶDo not direct the light beam at persons or animals and
do not stare into the light beam yourself (not even from
a distance). Staring into the light beam may result in
serious injury or vision loss.
ŶDo not place the product or battery pack near fire or
heat. This will reduce the risk of explosion and possible
injury.
ŶDo not place hands or fingers between adjustable head
and frame when positioning work light to avoid possible
pinching.
ŶTo reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to
water or rain. Do not place or store the product where it
can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
ŶTo reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is
necessary when the product is used near children.
ŶTo reduce the risk of injury or damage, avoid contact
with any hot surface.
ŶCheck to make sure the product does not rock, slide or
move prior to use.
ŶPut the product on a firm level surface where there
is plenty of room to handle and properly support the
product.
ŶRemove the battery pack before starting any work on
the product.
ŶDo not store the product in a damp or wet location, or in
a location where the temperature may reach or exceed
40°C (104°F). For example, inside sheds, vehicles, or
metal buildings in the summer.

exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps
or tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or
leaking. Check with the forwarding company for further
advice.

MAINTENANCE
ŶUse only original accessories and spare parts. Should
components need to be replaced which have not been
described, please contact an authorised service centre.
All repairs should be performed by an authorised
service centre.
ŶAvoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to various types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc.
ŶDo not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
