BATTERY SAFETY GUIDELINES / WARNINGS
Battery-powered Tedee Door Sensor set includes a single non-rechargeable and
non-user-serviceable CR2032 battery.
RECOMMENDED BATTERIES
To power your Tedee Door Sensor, you need to use 1 CR2032 battery. We only
allow the use of 3V.
WARNING: Risk of permanent damage to the device and warranty loss if batteries
with an operating voltage exceeding 3,3V are installed!
DO NOT
• Do not charge non-rechargeable battery. Non-rechargeable batteries are not
to be recharged
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as
alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries
• Do not disassemble, puncture, modify, drop, throw, or cause other unnecessary
shocks to battery.
• Do not leave or store battery in hot places such as near an oven, stove, direct
sunlight or other heat source.
• Do not place the battery into a microwave oven, or into any other high-pressure
container.
• Do not immerse battery in liquids or allow them to come into contact with
liquids.
• Do not short circuit battery.
• Do not use battery that appears to be leaking, discolored, rusty, deformed; emits
an odor; or is otherwise abnormal.
• Do not touch leaking battery.
• Do not continue to charge battery longer than the specied time.
• Do NOT dispose of the batteries, devices and its accessories in household
trash or incinerate. If possible, recycle and segregate according to your local
regulations
• Keep the battery away from children under the age of 3. If swallowed, contact
your local medical help immediately.
DO
• Do ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -). Do
not reverse battery polarity.
• Do store batteries in a cool, dry place at normal room temperature.
INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button
cell or coin battery.
DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested.
A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause
Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN.
Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is
suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any
part of the body.

• Do remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to
local regulations and keep away from children
• Do remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not
used for an extended period of time according to local regulations
• Use the included batteries at an operating temperature of -20 to +54°C, and
store them at a temperature of -30 to +45°C. Exceeding these ranges may result
in damage, loss of properties, leakage, or explosion of the battery. The above
temperature ranges may vary depending on the battery manufacturer.
• Dp always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the
batteries, and keep them away from children
OTHER INFORMATION
• Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death
• Call a local poison control center for treatment information
• Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 158°F or incinerate.
Doing so may result in injury due lo venting, leakage or explosion resulting in
chemical burns
• This device is safe to use under normal and reasonably foreseeable misuse
operating code of conduct. If you notice any signs of errors or hardware
malfunction, contact tedee technical support for help. In such case this device
should be returned to tedee for necessary repairs under the warranty conditions.
Any changes or modications to the device’s hardware or software which are not
approved, recommended, or provided by tedee may void your warranty.
• This device requires power source and Bluetooth(R) connection for proper
operation and may require an Internet connection to use some of its features.
The manufacturer is not responsible for potential room access problems
resulting from lack of internet access or failure or exhaustion of the power
source.
• This device is not intended for use as part of a home security system. The
manufacturer does not declare any anti-burglary properties or attestations,
certicates or classes of anti-burglary protection for the device. The
manufacturer shall not be liable for any potential damage/injury sustained due to
theft, burglary or intrusion resulting from damage, overcoming or unauthorized
gaining control of the device.
• This device may require the purchase of additional products to enable some of
its features. If in doubt, please contact tedee support.
• Neither Tedee Sp. z o.o., nor our retailers are responsible for failure to comply
with the above warnings and safety guidelines. By purchasing this device, the
buyer acknowledges all risks associated with the use of tedee equipment. If you
do not agree to these terms, return the device to the manufacturer or distributor
before use.
MAINTENANCE
• Remove the battery from the device before cleaning. Do not use any lubricants,
cleaning agents, polishes or air fresheners on any part of the device. Wipe it
with a dry cloth only.
• If the device housing is found to be worn to the extent that the integrity of the
housing is compromised, contact tedee technical support.
