While using the earphones take into consideration the following important points:

Operation instructions:
1. MIC: shall be used to record voice or music from another source, directly on the
tape
2. Type-C port: for plug in the Type -C cable for charging the product
3. Indicator light: shall indicate the status of the product, whether it is during its
charging or on pairing mode
4. Headphone jack: shall be used for plugging in the wired earphones provided
5. Function button: switch to choose from:
oMain function: TAPE
oBluetooth OUT function: TX
oBluetooth IN function: RX
6. Volume: Roll right/left to adjust the volume’s level
7. Stop: press to stop the tape
8. FF/REW: press to fast forward or rewind the tape
9. Record: can be used on
anticlockwise playing only. When the cassette tape is
playing anticlockwise, press the record button to start recording on the tape.
10.Play mode: slide this switch on the left side and auto reverse function will be
activated. Slide the switch on the right side, the tape will stop when both sides
finish
11. DIR: it will change the direction of the tape. If you want to play the other side of
the tape without ejecting it, then you can use this button
12.Play: press this button to play a tape. In TX & RX mode, press this button to exit
power saving mode.
Bluetooth IN Connection:
For using BT function, please slide the switch to RX position. You must search for
AKAI POCKET TAPE on your device and make the connection.
Bluetooth OUT Connection:
In TAPE playback mode, slide to switch to TX position and cassette player will enter
in BT OUT mode. For cassette player can make the connection with your speaker,
please make sure it is in BT mode as well. Once paired, the music will be played
through your speaker directly.
Charging the built-in lithium battery:
The cassette player has 3.7V built in rechargeable lithium battery. For its charging,
connect the unit by using the provided USB -Type-C charging cable to an adaptor
(not provided), and plug in the adaptor to an AC wall outlet. During its charging, the
indicator light will turn red. Once the red light turns off, the device is fully charged,
and the adaptor can be pulled out from the AC wall outlet. Full charging of the
battery is made within 3 or four hours.
Warnings!
Do not expose the battery to excessive heat such as strong sunlight or fire
Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours.
Before using the product for the first time, you must charge the battery for at
least 30 minutes but no longer than 24 hours.
Make sure the device will be used with its rechargeable battery only.
