Thank you very much for choosing a Humberg product.
The manual contains important instructions for safety, use and disposal of the appliance. Failure to
observe the safety instructions when working with the tanning device may lead to fire, explosion,
electric shock or burns. Read the Instruction manual before using the appliance and always observe
the safety instructions. Keep the instructions and pass them on to uninstructed persons before using
the tool.

⚠ Important warnings
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it should be replaced by a service technician.
• If the appliance is not used with due care, a fire may result.
• Use caution when using the unit in areas where combustible materials are present.
• Do not use the unit in the same place for an extended period of time.
• Do not operate in an explosive environment.
• Be aware that heat can be transferred to combustible materials that are out of sight.
• After use, put the unit on the stand and allow it to cool down before storing.

• Do not leave the appliance switched on unattended.
• The appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with limited physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed in the
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children in the vicinity of the appliance should be supervised. They must not be allowed to play
with the appliance.
⚠ Warnings
• A damaged housing or open device can lead to electric shock.
• Do not open the appliance or operate a damaged appliance.
• Do not interfere with the integrity of the housing, e.g. drill into it to attach a company label.
• Pull the mains plug before carrying out any work on the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance with a defective power supply cable. Such a defect may lead to electric
shock.
• Check the power cord regularly.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged cable should be replaced by a specialist.
• Do not wrap the cable around the appliance. Protect it from oil, heat and sharp edges.
• Do not carry the appliance by holding the cord and do not pull on it to remove the plug from the
socket.
• Do not operate in the rain or in a damp or wet environment. This could result in a dangerous elec-
tric shock.
• Keep the unit dry.
• Store the appliance in a dry place when not in use. Weather conditions should be taken into
account.
• When in use, avoid touching earthed surfaces such as cables, pipes, radiators, cookers or refrigerators.
• Electrical tools used outdoors must be connected to a residual current circuit breaker.
• Risk of explosion! The tool may cause an explosion of flammable liquids and gases. Do not work in
an explosive environment. Check the surroundings before starting work. Do not work on or near
fuel or gas tanks, even when empty.
• Danger of fire! Heat can reach combustible materials hidden behind coverings, in ceilings, floors or
cavities and ignite them. Check the working area before starting work and, if in doubt, refrain from
using the tool. Do not point the tool at the same place for an extended period of time.
• Danger of fire! An unattended appliance in operation can cause a fire in nearby objects. The appli-
ance must be supervised at all times during operation. Always place the appliance upright and
standing when it is switched off. Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely.
• Danger of fire! When working with varnishes or similar materials, gases are formed which are
flammable and can lead to explosions. Be prepared for the appearance of flames and have suitable
fire extinguishing agents on hand.
• Danger of poisoning! When working with plastics, varnishes or similar materials, gases are formed
which can be aggressive or toxic. Avoid inhaling the vapours, even if they appear harmless. Always
ensure that the work area is well ventilated or use an oxygen mask.
• Danger of injury! Never point a switched-on appliance towards people or animals. Do not touch the
tube of the heating element or the nozzle when they are hot. Touching these components can lead
to skin burns. Keep children and bystanders away from the appliance. Do not use the appliance as
a hair dryer. The appliance generates much more heat than it does. Do not use the appliance to
heat liquids or to dry objects or materials that are damaged by hot air.
