Getting started
Install batteries
•
Open the battery compartment cov
er and insert the battery accor
ding to the cor
rect polarity marks. Close the co
ver
.

Connect the pow
er cable to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect it to the AC pow
er supply.
Attention!
The device operates fr
om the AC po
wer supply, as the voltage of the computer’
s USB port is insucient for the proper
operation of the device.

Button panel and device settings
A long pr
ess will turn the device on/o and zoom in/out the image. For the other functions, use a short pr
ess.
POWER button
Pr
ess and hold the
POWER
button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or o.
This button switches between 3 in-built modes: 1) photo mode; 2) video mode; and 3) playback mode.
The default mode is photo mode.

urn the focusing wheel to adjust the focus.

If the device fails to activate, check for defective or impr
operly installed batteries. Always only use the r
ecommended batteries.

If you wear glasses, k
eep them on while using the device.

When in Photo or Video mode, pr

button to enter the Starlight mode. In Starlight mode the monocular can detect infrar

light below 1200nm, but does not emit any infr

Do not use IR in daylight (when IR

esolution, night vision sensitivity, change the language, set the date, set auto pow

om the memory card, etc.

Do not expose the device to dir

Do not scratch or touch the optical surfaces with your ngers.

e cleaning the device! Use only dry, lint-fr
ee cloths to wipe the outer parts of the device. Do not use
cleaning uid to avoid the electronics damage. T
o avoid scratching the lenses, only use a so cloth and do not pr
ess too hard. Keep
the device away from dust and water
. Keep the device in a bag or a box. Remov

om the device if it has not been used
for a long time.
Battery safety instructions
Always pur

ade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries
at one time; taking car
