• Ensure the device is dry and turned o before plugging it into a power outlet.
• Turn o the device before cleaning, changing any attachments, and after use.
• Never pull the power cord to disconnect the device from the outlet. Always grasp the
plug.
• Do not use the device if the power cord is damaged. If the cord is damaged, it should
be replaced at an authorized service center.
• Do not place the cords under furniture or other obstacles.
• Protect the power cable from damage; keep it away from heat sources and sharp

OPERATION
1. To lock the device (Travel Lock) and prevent unwanted activation, press and hold the
power/lock button for about 3 seconds. To unlock the device, also press and hold the
power/lock button for 3 seconds.
2. Press the power button to turn on the device.
3. To increase the speed, press the power button again.
4. To turn o the device, press the power button.
BATTERY CHARGING (FIG. VI)
• When the charging indicator ashes red, recharge the battery. A green indicator
means the battery is fully charged.
• Use a 5V 1A charger for charging.
• The battery charges in about 1.5 hours.
• The operating time after a full charge is about 1.5 hours.
• Before charging, make sure the cable ends and sockets are clean and dry, and the
product is turned o.
• Charge in an ambient temperature of 0-40°C. During charging, do not leave the device
in hot places or direct sunlight. Disconnect the charger after charging to prevent
overcharging.
• To maintain battery life, you should discharge the batteries every 6 months and then
charge them for 14-16 hours.

Figure II shows how to dismount (Fig. 1) and mount (Figs. 2-3) attachments.
TIPS
• Beard, mustache, and sideburns should be dry.
• Avoid using balms before using the trimmer. Hair should be combed in the direction of
its growth.
• Remove the trimmer comb attachment when: shaping hairline edges such as sidebu-
rns; shaving the neck; trimming the beard line at the front of the neck.
