SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1 If using Yeti 2 on a desktop, rotate the microphone upright
within the stand Tighten the screws on the side
2 Plug in the USB cable to the microphone and your computer
If you are using wired 3 5 mm headphones, connect them
to the headphone port at the bottom of the microphone
3 If using Yeti 2 on a boom arm, carefully remove the side
screws until the microphone lis out of the stand Insert
the rubber stoppers (found in the accessory tray in the
box) to cover the threads in the mic where the side screws
were Mount the microphone to the boom arm by using the
⅝" threads at the bottom Depending on your boom arm,
a thread adapter may be required (not included) Plug in the
USB cable to the microphone and your computer

4 Download G HUB to congure settings, customize
presets, and upload custom images
5 Be sure to position the mic correctly and speak into
the side of the microphone, not the top
Note: Remove the protective lm from the
proximity sensor

(not all Windows PCs will have this option)
Check privacy settings and allow Yeti 2 access

YETI 2 PRODUCT TOUR
1. Voice Proximity Sensor
When Autogain and/or Auto Tracking is turned on, the microphone uses this
sensor to measure your distance and location to make realtime adjustments
to gain, EQ, and polar pattern The result is a clear and consistent sound you
don’t have to worry about setting up or managing
Autogain will manage your gain and output level You can see this working
by looking at the meters on the screen
Autotracking will manage your polar pattern (how the mic “aims” to pick
up the best sound)
Note: The sensor has a 90º eld of view in front of the mic Autogain and
Autotracking will work best when only one person is in front of the sensor
2. Touch Mute
Press your nger here to silently mute the microphone The mute icon will glow
red when active
3. LCD screen
The screen provides realtime information about your level, mute state, polar
pattern, denoiser status, and more!
4. Control Knob
Rotate le or right to navigate through the on-screen menus Press the knob
in to select what is highlighted
