Safety, performance, and dependability have been given top
priority in the design of your BLUETOOTH® speaker.
INTENDED USE
The speaker can play back audio signals from connected
audio devices.
Do not use the product for any other purpose.
SPEAKER SAFETY WARNINGS
ŶNever disassemble or modify the product in any way.
ŶDo not place product near any heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
ŶThe speaker grill should not be covered with items such
as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
ŶDo not place the product in closed bookcases or racks
without proper ventilation.
ŶBefore operating the product, make sure that the battery
cover is closed properly.
ŶDisposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or
mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result
in an explosion.
ŶLeaving a battery in an extremely high temperature
surrounding environment can result in an explosion or
the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
ŶA battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may
result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid
or gas.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
ŶTo reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool,
battery pack or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow
inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as
seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or
bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations.
Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling
when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that
no batteries can come in contact with other batteries
or conductive materials while in transport by protecting
exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps or
tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
Check with the forwarding company for further advice.

OPERATION
TURNING ON/OFF THE PRODUCT
Press the on/off button to turn the product on.
Press and hold the on/off button for 1.5 seconds to turn the
product off.
The product enters the last mode (primary, secondary or
single BLUETOOTH®) when it is powered on.
ŶIn primary mode, the product is available for connection
from secondary speakers.
ŶIn secondary mode, the product searches for a primary
speaker.
ŶIn single BLUETOOTH® mode, the product searches for
a BLUETOOTH® device and automatically connects to
a paired device.
The product stays in the current mode until it is changed
by the user.
NOTE: The product will turn off in 30 minutes if no audio has
been streamed. Turn on the product to resume operation.
CONNECTING A BLUETOOTH
®
DEVICE
1. When turned on, the product searches for a
BLUETOOTH® device. The on/off button light blinks.
2. On the BLUETOOTH® device, select “Ryobi RS4“ from
the device list. Once connected, the on/off button light
becomes solid.
To connect the product to another BLUETOOTH® device,
press and hold the play/pause button for 1.5 seconds.
The on/off button light blinks, indicating that the product
is searching for a BLUETOOTH® device. Perform Step 2
above to connect another BLUETOOTH® device.
In secondary mode, the product cannot be connected to a
BLUETOOTH® device. Press and hold the connect button
for 1.5 seconds. Perform Step 2 above to connect to a
BLUETOOTH® device.
PLAYING STREAMED AUDIO
Press the play/pause button to play/pause streamed audio.
Press the play/pause button two times to go to the next track.
Press the play/pause button three times to go to the
previous track.
CONNECTING A SECONDARY SPEAKER
1. On the primary speaker which is connected to a
BLUETOOTH® device, press and hold the connect button
for 1.5 seconds. The connect button light turns in red.
2. On the secondary speaker, press the on/off button to
turn the product on. Press and hold the connect button
for 1.5 seconds. The connect button light blinks in green.
3. Once connected, the connect button light on the
secondary speaker turns in solid green.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 above to connect additional speakers
to the primary speaker.
Press and hold the on/off button of the primary speaker for
1.5 seconds to turn off all secondary speakers.
NOTE: Ensure that the secondary speaker is disconnected
from other BLUETOOTH® devices before connecting it to a
primary speaker.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Press the volume up button to increase the volume on the
speaker. Press the volume down button to decrease the
volume on the speaker.
Press and hold the volume buttons to increase or decrease
the volume continuously.

ADDITIONAL NOTES ON OPERATION
ŶThe USB charging port is intended for charging only. It
does not provide any data communication capabilities.
ŶThe controls may not be supported by the BLUETOOTH®
device and/or application you are using.
ŶWhen switched on, the volume will return to the 8. (16 max)
MAINTENANCE
ŶUse only original accessories and spare parts. Should
components need to be replaced which have not been
described, please contact an authorised service centre.
All repairs should be performed by an authorised
service centre.
ŶAvoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to various types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc.
ŶDo not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.

FONCTIONNEMENT
MISE EN MARCHE/ARRÊT DU PRODUIT
Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour mettre le produit
en marche.
Maintenez le bouton marche/arrêt enfoncé pendant
1,5 seconde pour éteindre le produit.
Le dernier mode sélectionné (principal, secondaire ou
BLUETOOTH® simple) est utilisé lorsque le produit est mis
en marche.
ŶEn mode principal, le produit peut être connecté à partir
de haut-parleurs secondaires.
ŶEn mode secondaire, le produit recherche un haut-
parleur principal.
ŶEn mode BLUETOOTH® simple, le produit recherche
un périphérique BLUETOOTH® et se connecte
automatiquement à un périphérique appairé.
Le produit reste dans le mode sélectionné jusqu’à ce qu’il

« Ryobi RS4 » dans la liste des périphériques. Une

Pour connecter le produit à un autre périphérique
BLUETOOTH®, maintenez enfoncé le bouton de lecture/
pause pendant 1,5 seconde. Le voyant du bouton marche/
arrêt clignote, indiquant que le produit recherche un
périphérique BLUETOOTH®. Effectuez l’étape 2 ci-dessus
pour connecter un autre périphérique BLUETOOTH®.
En mode secondaire, le produit ne peut pas être connecté
à un périphérique BLUETOOTH®. Maintenez le bouton
de connexion enfoncé pendant 1,5 seconde. Effectuez
l’étape 2 ci-dessus pour connecter le produit à un
périphérique BLUETOOTH®.
LECTURE DE L’AUDIO DIFFUSÉ
Appuyez sur le bouton lecture/pause pour lire/mettre en
pause l’audio diffusé.
Appuyez deux fois sur le bouton lecture/pause pour passer
au morceau suivant.
Appuyez trois fois sur le bouton lecture/pause pour revenir
au morceau précédent.
CONNEXION D’UN HAUT-PARLEUR SECONDAIRE
1. Sur le haut-parleur principal connecté à un périphérique
BLUETOOTH®, maintenez enfoncé le bouton de
connexion pendant 1,5 seconde. Le voyant du bouton
de connexion devient rouge.
2. Sur le haut-parleur secondaire, appuyez sur le bouton
marche/arrêt pour mettre le produit en marche. Maintenez
le bouton de connexion enfoncé pendant 1,5 seconde.
Le voyant du bouton de connexion clignote en vert.
3. Une fois la connexion établie, le voyant du bouton de
connexion du haut-parleur secondaire s’allume en vert fixe.
Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 ci-dessus pour connecter d’autres
haut-parleurs au haut-parleur principal.
Maintenez enfoncé le bouton marche/arrêt du haut-parleur
principal pendant 1,5 seconde pour éteindre tous les haut-
parleurs secondaires.
REMARQUE : Assurez-vous que le haut-parleur secondaire
est déconnecté des autres périphériques BLUETOOTH®
avant de le connecter à un haut-parleur principal.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
Appuyez sur le bouton d’augmentation du volume pour
augmenter le volume du haut-parleur. Appuyez sur le
bouton de diminution du volume pour diminuer le volume
du haut-parleur.
Maintenez les boutons de volume enfoncés pour augmenter
ou diminuer le volume en continu.
REMARQUES SUPPLÉMENTAIRES SUR LE
