Precautions
Damage
Please inspect the unit for damage after unpacking. If it is damaged in
any way do not operate the unit and consult your dealer.
Power connection and accessibility
Do not handle the power cord with wet hands as it may cause an electric
shock. If the power plug does not  t into your outlet, do not force the
plug into an electrical socket. Switch o the unit completely before
unplugging. Disconnect the power cord if it is not used for a long time.
Ensure that the power plug is always easily accessible. Do not attach
extension cables.
Power source
Ensure that the unit is plugged into an AC 100-240V 50/60Hz power
outlet. Using higher voltage may cause the unit to malfunction or even
catch  re.
Fused moulded power plug (non rewireable) - UK, Malta, Cyprus and
Ireland only.
The power lead on this equipment is supplied with a plug incorporating
a 3 Amp fuse. The value of the fuse is indicated on the pin face of the
plug and if it requires replacing, a fuse approved to BS1362 of the same
rating must be used.
Power cord protection
Do not damage the power cord, do not place any heavy objects on it, do
not stretch it or bend it. Damage to the power cord can result in  re or
electric shock. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced.
Child safety
Always follow basic safety precautions when using this product,
especially when children are present. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the product.
Location
When in use this product should be placed on a  at, stable surface with
no part of the main unit overhanging an edge.
Insertion hazards
Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operation of the product protecting it from overheating.
These openings must not be blocked or covered. Ensure a minimum
distance of 5 cm around the product for suffi cient ventilation. Never
let anyone push anything into holes, slots or any other openings in the
product’s casing as this could result in an electric shock.
Heat and operating temperature
Do not place near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including ampli ers) that produce heat.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Naked  ames
To prevent the risk of  re, keep candles or open  ames away from this
product.
Storms and lightning
Storms are dangerous for all electric products. If the power is struck by
lightning, the product might get damaged, even if it is turned o . You
should disconnect all the cables and connectors of the product before
a storm.
Maintenance
Unplug the power cable from the power source before cleaning the
product. Use a soft and clean cloth to clean the outside of the unit. Never
clean it with chemicals or detergent.
Service and repair

This product does not contain any parts that are serviceable by the
user. Exposing the internal parts inside the device may endanger your
life. In case of a fault, contact the manufacturer or authorised service
department. The manufacturers guarantee does not extend to faults
caused by repairs carried out by unauthorised third parties.
Caution:
Epilepsy warning
Before using the strobe light, check if nearby persons are vulnerable to
rapid  ashing light. If present, do not use the strobe light.
Certain people with epilepsy and photo-sensitivity may su er a seizure if
exposed to  ashing or strobe lighting.
Built-in battery care
Your product is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery.
The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but will
eventually wear out.
Unplug the product when not in use.
Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a power outlet, it may
shorten its lifetime.
If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.
Leaving the product in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in the
summer and winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of
the battery.
Always try to store your device in a cool, moisture-free environment
that's less than 32°C.
If you plan to store your device for longer than six months, charge the
battery to 50% every six months to keep it fresh. Store the device at
temperatures between 5 °C and 20 °C.

Battery warning
The battery used in this product may present a risk of  re or chemical
burn if mistreated.
Do not attempt to open the product to replace the battery, it is not
designed to be changed by the user.
Batteries may explode if damaged.
Do not expose batteries to high temperatures or excessive radiant heat.
Do not drop the product or subject to strong physical shock.
Please dispose of battery pack correctly by following the guidance in
this manual (see section “Disposal of equipment and batteries”). Do
not throw them into  re, do not disassemble them, they could leak or
explode.
Disposal of equipment and batteries
This product does not contain any parts that are serviceable by the user.
Electronic products and batteries should not be mixed with general
household waste. Household users should contact either the retailer
where they purchased this product, or their local government offi ce for
details of where and how they can take these items for environmentally
safe recycling.
The batteries should be removed by an authorized Sharp service centre
and disposed according to local regulations.
Do not dispose as household waste or in a  re as they may explode.
This symbol means that the product contains batteries
covered by European Directive 2013/56/EU which cannot
be disposed of with normal household waste. Cd, Hg and
Pb underneath the wheelie bin symbol shows whether the
battery contains, cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg) or lead (Pb).
This symbol on a product means that the product is
covered by European Directive 2012/19/EU and must not
be disposed of or dumped with your other household
waste.
These symbols on the products, packaging, and/or accompanying
documents mean that used electrical and electronic products and batteries

1. Press the button to turn on the unit. Long press the button to
turn o the unit.
2. Short press: changes the front light mode
Long press (2 sec): changes the side light mode
Longer press (4 secs): switch all the lights o
3. Short press the button to toggle between Bass & 3D surround
sound modes:
A long press of the button will swich o both modes: Bass O, 3D O.
4. Press the button to turn up the volume. Long press the button
to skip to the next playing track.
5. SOURCE – Press the button repeatedly to switch the playback mode:
Bluetooth, AUX, USB. A long press of the button will activate the TWS/
Duo mode function.
Note that the USB mode can only be selected if a USB stick is plugged
into the unit.
6. Press the button to play or pause the playback. Long press of
the button will disconnect bluetooth connection.
7. Press the button to turn down the playing volume. Long press
the button skip to the previous playing track.

11. RECHARGING INDICATOR – When the charger is connected, red light
turns on. When the device is fully charged, the red light turns o.
REAR VIEW
(Refer to 2 on page 1).
1. DC 18V – AC Adapter input port.
2. USB PORT – The USB 2.0 5V/1A port allows you to charge your mobile
device from the speakers built-in battery. You can also playback MP3
audio les stored on a USB device up to 32GB which uses a FAT32 le
system.
3. AUX IN JACK – Connect other audio devices via a 3.5mm jack audio
cable.
Operation instruction
Charging the Speaker
(Refer to 3 on page 1).
This speaker uses a built-in battery pack. Before using it, charge the
batteries by connecting the AC adapter.
Connect the AC power adapter (supplied) to the DC 18V input port on the
rear of the unit, and then to the wall outlet.
CAUTION:
ūOnly use the AC adapter supplied with this device. If you do not use the
supplied AC adapter charging performance could be aected and it may
cause permanent damage.
Power On the Speaker
Press button on the top panel of the unit to power on.
The rst time you use the speaker, the “Source indicator“ ashes blue,
indicating that the unit is in paring mode.
TIPS:
ūIn order to disable or enable the voice prompts, please press and hold
SOURCE button 3 seconds during power up operation.
ūWhen you power on the speaker again after Bluetooth setup, the unit will
search for the previous paired device. Once found, it will pair with that
device automatically.
Power O the Speaker
Long press the button to turn o the unit.
After 15 mins with no activity/connection the unit will automatically power
o to conserve the battery.
Bluetooth Connection
1. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the voice prompt states
"Bluetooth".
2. Make sure that the unit is in pairing mode (blue light ashing).
3. Enable Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the unit. Select
‘’Sharp PS-921,, from the available devices (enter the password
‘’0000,, if necessary) to start pairing and connection with the unit.
4. After successful connection the "SOURCE INDICATOR" will turn solid
blue and you will hear a voice prompt ("Connected").
5. This unit is compatible with the voice assistant on your smart device.
NOTES:
ūThis speaker supports automatic connection with a previously paired device
after power o and power on again.
ūIf you want to pair with a new Bluetooth device, you must disconnect the
paired device.
ūTo disconnect the Bluetooth connection, long press button or you can
turn o the Bluetooth function in your smart device. The voice prompt will
state "disconnected" when complete.
Connect two PS-921 via Bluetooth (TWS)
TWS/True wireless Stereo - Duo Mode
This allows for two PS-921 party speakers to be connected together
as left and right stereo speakers for a wider stereo sound-stage. The
rst speaker is the primary one (left audio channel) and the second the
secondary (right audio channel).
Press and hold the SOURCE on the rst speaker until the speaker says
“Duo Mode pairing” then release the button.
Press and hold the SOURCE button on the second speaker until the
speaker says “Duo Mode pairing” then release the button.
Please wait until speakers say “Duo Mode connected”. The speakers are
now connected to each other.
Pair the primary speaker with your phone.
For Bluetooth pairing to a Bluetooth-out enabled smart device search for
Bluetooth Pairing name “Sharp PS-921” on your device and pair.
