EN - COMMERCIAL GUARANTEE
Knife Blades and sharpening mechanism are guaranteed for 10 years from the purchase date or delivery date, against any
manufacturing defect that would have cause breakage.
This commercial waranty is applicable for a product usage in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
It doesn’t cover normal use, or damages linked to a non-culinary domestic usage.
This contractual warranty will be acquired upon presentation of the purchase receipt.
The other parts of the knife are covered within the limits of the legal warranty in force in the country of purchase.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES
In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled
to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure. In New Zealand our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer
Guarantee’s Act 1993. The Consumer Guarantee does not cover freight, or any other costs incurred by you in making a

ADDITIONAL GUARANTEES
In addition and subject to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer
Guarantee’s Act 1993 set out above, Groupe SEB Pty Ltd (“we” or “us”) provides the following additional guarantees
(“Additional Guarantees”):
The blade of Tefal EverSharp knives and sharpening mechanism will not break for 10 years from the date of purchase.
Should any of the above occur within the applicable Additional Guarantee period and subject to the conditions and
exclusions below, you should return your product, at your cost, to the retailer from which you purchased it from, together
with your receipt as proof of purchase. The retailer will then forward your Additional Guarantee claim directly to us for
processing. Alternatively, if the retailer is unable to help you, you may contact us directly at:

Upon receipt, if your Additional Guarantee claim is deemed valid we will, at our cost, replace or repair the product in
our discretion. Only the part or accessory covered by the Additional Guarantee will be repaired or replaced. Packaging,
instructions etc. will not be replaced unless faulty. The Additional Guarantees exclude damage caused by the product
not being used in accordance with instructions, accidental damage (including overheating), misuse or being tampered
with by unauthorised persons. Additional Guarantees also do not apply if the product is used commercially and excludes
consumable items (which also include accessories such as pressure regulators and safety devices), dishwasher efects and
damages, stains, dents, discolouration, scratches or scufs due to normal wear and tear, and your costs of claiming under
the Additional Guarantee.
FR - GARANTIE COMMERCIALE
Les lames des couteaux et le mécanisme d’aûtage sont garantis 10 ans à partir de la date d’achat ou de la date de livraison,
contre tout défaut de fabrication qui aurait entrainé sa casse.
Cette garantie commerciale est applicable dans le cadre d’un usage du produit conforme aux recommandations du fabricant.
Elle ne couvre ni l’usure normale du produit, ni les dommages liés à un usage du produit hors d’une application domestique
culinaire.
Cette garantie contractuelle sera acquise sur présentation du justicatif d’achat.
Les autres parties du couteau sont couvertes dans les limites de la garantie légale en vigueur dans le pays d’achat.

Pour rappel, la garantie légale en France est encadrée par les dispositions suivantes:
Article L 217-4 du Code de la consommation: «Le vendeur est tenu de livrer un bien conforme au contrat et répond des
défauts de conformité existant lors de la délivrance.
Il répond également des défauts de conformité résultant de l’emballage, des instructions de montage ou de l’installation
lorsque celle-ci a été mise à sa charge par le contrat ou a été réalisée sous sa responsabilité.»
Article L 217-5du Code de la consommation: «Pour être conforme au contrat, le bien doit :
1° Etre propre à l’usage habituellement attendu d’un bien semblable et, le cas échéant :
- correspondre à la description donnée par le vendeur et posséder les qualités que celui-ci a présentées à l’acheteur
sous forme d’échantillon ou de modèle ;
