ts, or in adults who
are old, frail, or ha

dened as babies with a calendar age of less than 37 weeks. Small-for-gestational-age is dened as a baby

, with a weight below the 10th percentile for babies of the same gestational age

This thermometer is not intended to interpret h
ypothermic temperatures. If the device displays a
temperature of 36.4 °C (97.5 °F) or less with an LED backlight color of green or white

When the user is learning how to use the thermometer for the rst time until he/she has familiarized
himself/herself with the instrument and obtains consistent readings.
General precautions:

o measuring with a dry cloth.

How does Braun No touch + t
ouch work?
The No touch + touch thermometer measures infrar
ed energy radiated from the skin at the center

This captured energy is collected through the lens and con

the age appropriate for the individual.

The unit will turn on, displaying a yellow backlight and the 3 age range
icons will ash.
