Installing the batteries 1.Remove the
tray from back of the Timer by sliding it
out. 2.Insert two AA (1.5 V) alkaline bat-
teries (not included) and place the tray
back. 3.Replace battery when low bat-
tery icon flashes.
Programming the timer 1.Rotate
the dial to positions indicated for setup
(for timer, dual: 2.Press L/R button to
switch between left and right outlet for
all programming). 3.Left and right outlets
can function at the same time. (Water flow
will decrease when both sides are used
at once). note:The dial should be in the
Run position for the Timer to operate
(programmed mode or manual mode).
Set clock
1.Rotate the dial to Set clock.
2.Clock display will be in AM or PM.
3.Press the + or – button to advance or
reverse clock time (hold button for quick
advance).
Start time 1.Rotate the dial to Start
time (for timer, dual: Press L/R to
choose Left or Right valve). 2.Press the
+ or – button to set the start time (hold
button for quick advance).
How long 1.Rotate the dial to How
long. 2.Press the + or – button to set the
length of watering time (1 minute up to
360 minutes).
How often 1.Allows you to set the pro-
gram to repeat every 6, 12 hours, or from
1 to 7 days. 2.Rotate the dial to How
often. 3.Press the + or – button to set
the frequency.
Run 1.Rotate Dial to Run. 2.Timer wa-
ters according to programmed time, du-
ration, and frequency. 3.The start times
and cycle duration are maintained during
O or Run mode. 4.The dial must re-
main in Run position for the cycle to run.
If the dial is turned to any other position,
watering will stop. 5.Rain drops will be
shown when the watering is on.
Set rain delay (watering delay):
1.With the dial in the Run position, press-
ing (+) will cause a 24 hour delay to the
program (for timer, dual: Same delay
will occur on both Left and Right valves).
2.Delays of 0, 24, 48, and 72 hours are
possible. Delay time can be changed by
pushing + or – at any time. 3.Display will
flash between clock and hours remaining
before programmed cycle resumes. 4.To
remove watering delay, turn dial to O
and then back to Run or reduce the delay
time to 0.
Manual (instant) watering 1.To water
instantly without interrupting the set cycle,
press the button to start watering.
2.This mode will function only when the
dial is on Run position. 3. For timer, dual:
Choose Left or Right valve (Valves can
have dierent watering duration set).
4.Press the + or – button to adjust from
0 to 240 minutes at any time. 5.To resume
programmed cycle, press the button
again or rotate the knob to O and back
to Run.
O Turning the dial to the O position
from any other position will stop the man-
ual or programmed watering immediately.
Reset Pressing the Reset button for 2
seconds will erase all the programs and
the Timer will return to factory shipped
condition.
Installation 1.Attach Timer to an outdoor
hose faucet and turn faucet on after pro-
gramming. 2.Not for use on outlet end of
‘Y’ connectors or other hose accessories.
Troubleshooting
problem: There is no display.
Check if: 1.Batteries are installed properly.
2.Batteries are very low.
problem: Timer does not water or
does not come on at desired time.
Check if: 1.The dial position is at Run.
2.Faucet is on. 3.Clock is set to correct
time including AM and PM. 4.Batteries
are low. 5.For timer, dual: Desired outlet
(Left or Right) is programmed. 6.Rain
delay is on. 7.Start time is set to desired
time including AM and PM.
problem: Water won’t turn o.
Check if: 1.Watering duration is set to
desired time 2.The Manual mode is on
3.No power/batteries are included.
Warranty terms The manufacturer shall
repair or replace, through the dealer, any
parts of the product found to be faulty
due to manufacturing defects, for a period
of 24 months as of the date of purchase.
the warranty does not cover defects
due to tampering, improper use or
wear. The warranty is valid only if the cus-
tomer returns to the product to the dealer
complete in all its parts together with the
receipt or other document proving the
date of purchase.
