INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the DABMAN i200 CD. When you use the
DABMAN i200 CD for the first time, please read these instructions
carefully, and retain them for reference in future. You will be able
to fully enjoy the many functions of the radio only if you follow the
instructions.
This operating manual will assist you with the
correct
safe
optimal
use of the IMPERIAL DABMAN i200 CD. We assume the user of the
radio has general knowledge related to the operation of consumer
electronics products.
Any person
installing
connecting
operating
cleaning
disposing of
this radio must first have taken notice of the entire contents of this
operating manual. Always keep this operating manual close to the
radio.
Main parts (image A)
1 Eject
Ejects the CD in drive.
2 Power on / off button
Use this button to turn on the device or to standby.
3 Station memory button 1 / Stop
Switches to programme memory 1 in radio mode. Stops
playback via CD or USB disk
4 Menu button
Displays the menu of the device.
5 Station memory button 2 / Play-Pause
Switches to programme memory 2 in radio mode. Pauses or
starts play- back via CD or USB disk.
6 Mode
Switch the operating mode of the device between Internet
radio, DAB+, FM, UPnP, AUX, Bluetooth, CD, USB and SPOTIFY
CONNECT here.
7 Station memory button 3 / Track back
Switches to programme memory 3 in radio mode. Selects
the previous track of a file. Hold down the button to start high
speed rewind.
8 Navigation / Station selection
Navigate through the menu using these buttons or choose the
next station from the station list.
9 Navigation / Station selection
Navigate through the menu using these buttons or choose the
next station from the station list.
q Station memory button 4 / Next track
Switches to programme memory 4 in radio mode. Selects the
next track of a file. Hold down the button to fast forward.
w Volume control / Confirmation button
Change the volume with the dial or confirm menu entries by
pressing the button.
e CD slot
Insert audio or data CD here.
r Display
t Power button
Turn the device on or off here. The device is disconnected from
power supply in position 0.
y Power supply connector
Connect the device to the power supply at this socket (included).
u USB port
Here you connect the device with a USB data carrier such as
USB hard drive, USB flash drive to play music from.
i LAN connection
Here you connect the device to an existing network with a
network cable to use the internet radio feature. (Alternatively,
the device can also be connected via Wi-Fi).
o AUX IN
Here you connect an external audio source such as MP3 player,
smart phone or tablet with the 3.5 mm AUX jack
p LINE OUT
Here you connect the radio with a Hi-Fi amplifier or active
speakers, to direct music received by the radio to a sound
system.
a Headphone jack
Insert a headset here to listen to the music played by the
radio with headphones. When connecting headphones, music
playback through the speakers of the device is interrupted.
s VHF / DAB antenna
Main parts (image B)
1 Standby button
Switch the device on or off using this button.
2 Sleep
Use these buttons to switch the Sleep Timer of the device on
or off.
3 WPS button
Use this button to establish a WIFI connection to your home
network. Please also read chapter Operation.
4 Alarm clock
Use this button to activate the alarm clock function.
5 Eject
Eject a CD in the drive with this button.
6 Local radio
7 UPnP
Activate the device’s UPNP function. Read chapter Air music
control for more related information.
8 Repeat
Use this button to repeat playback of one or more tracks.
9 Shuffle
Activate the shuffle playback option.
q Menu
Use this button to activate the device‘s menu.
w Mode
Switch between different modes.
e Enter
Confirm an entry or selection with this button.
r Navigation up/down - left/right
Use these buttons to navigate through the menu.
t Select previous track / Fast reverse
Use this button to select the previous track or fast rewind.
y Select next track / fast forward
Use this button to select the next track or to fast forward.
u Play
Starts or pauses playback.
i Mute
Mutes the device‘s volume to silent.
o Stop
Stops playback.
p V+ volume
Increases the volume.
