INTRODUCTION
Thank you for buying our product.
Please read through these operating instructions, so you will know how to operate your
equipment properly. After you finished reading the instructions manual, put it away in a safe
place for future reference.
WARNING
To prevent re or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. To avoid electrical
shock, do not open the cabinet; refer servicing to qualied personnel only.
CAUTION
Use of controls or adjustment or performance of procedures other than those specied herein may
result in hazardous radiation exposure.
DANGER
Invisible laser radiation when open and interlock failed or defeated. Avoid direct exposure to beam.
This Product is classied as a Class 1 LASER PRODUCT.
THE CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT label is located on the rear exterior.
SAFETY
General
Do not drop the device and do not expose it to liquid, moisture or humidity. These might lead to
damage to the device.
If the device is moved from a cold environment into a warmer one, do let it adapt to the new
temperature before operate the device. Otherwise, it might lead to condensation and cause
malfunctions in the device.
Do not use the device in the dust environment as dust can damage the interior electronic
components and lead to malfunctions in the device.
Protect the device from strong vibrations and place it on stable surfaces.
Do not attempt to disassembly the device.
If the device is not using for a long period of time, disconnect it from the power supply by
unplugging the power plug. This is to avoid the risk of fire.
The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
Battery handling and usage
Only adults should handle battery. Do not allow a child to use this apparatus unless the battery
cover is securely attached.
Remove batteries if exhausted or if they will not be used again for a long period. The incorrect
use of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage and will corrode the compartment or cause the
batteries to burst, therefore:
-Do not mix battery types, e.g. alkaline with zinc carbonate.
-When inserting new batteries, replace all batteries at the same time.
Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed of properly.

Risks associated with high volumes
Connect headphones with volume set low and increase it if required. Prolonged
listening through some headphones at high volume settings can result in hearing
damage. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for
long periods.

NOTE: The USB port does not support charging external devices.
GETTING STARTED
Power Sources
Connect the AC power cord, or insert six C size batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment.
NOTE: Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the
unit.
Antenna
Extend the telescopic antenna to its full length to get the best reception, or place the unit in an
open location.
Connecting the headphones
Connect headphones to the headphone output. To protect your hearing, avoid listening at
excessive volume levels when listening through headphones.
BASIC OPERATIONS
Power on/off
Press /MODE to switch on the device. Press and hold the same button again to switch the device
back to Standby mode.
NOTE: When the unit is idle for approximately 15-20 minutes, it automatically switches to Standby mode.
Selecting play mode
Press /MODE repeatedly to switch between modes [rAd] FM Radio / [Cd] CD disc / [USb] USB /
[AUX] AUX-IN/ [bt] Bluetooth / [taP] Cassette tape.
Volume adjustment
Press VOLUME + / VOLUME - adjust the volume. The volume level of this unit is adjustable in steps
from 0 to 16. If you want to adjust the volume level continuously, hold the button down, and
release it at the desired level.

Sleep Timer Setting
Press SLEEP/SNOOZE/TIME SET repeatedly to adjust the sleep time to [10, 20, 30 ... 90] minutes.
When the sleep timer is activated, [SLEEP] is displayed. To deactivate the sleep timer, press the
same button repeatedly until [OFF] is displayed.
Time setting
In standby mode, press and hold SLEEP/SNOOZE/TIME SET until [24H] ashes on the display.
Use / to select the time format in 12H or 24H, then press SLEEP/SNOOZE/TIME SET to
confirm.
Use / to set hour and minute, press SLEEP/SNOOZE/TIME SET to confirm and complete the
time setup.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
Scanning for stations
To start a full scan, press and hold /SCAN. All found stations are saved to presets when the full
scan is complete.
Press and hold the /TUNE- / /TUNE+ to search for the previous/next station.
To manually search for FM stations, press /TUNE- / /TUNE+ repeatedly until your desired
frequency is reached.
NOTE: Press /MO/ST to switch between MONO or STEREO mode.
Storing to Presets 1 ~ 40
NOTE: To store a preset, you must first listen to the radio station you want to save.
Press and hold PRESET/+10/F+, until [P01] flashes on the display.
Use / to select the station number.
Press PRESET/+10/F+ to confirm.
Recalling Presets 1 ~ 40
Press PRESET/+10/F+.
Use / to select the station number.
PLAYING A MUSIC DISC
NOTE: The unit can play digital audio CD / CD-MP3 discs - finalized digital audio CD-Recordable (CD-R) discs,
finalized digital audio CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) discs, and CD-DA format digital audio discs.
Insert the tip of your nger into the opening tab to open the CD compartment cover. Place a disc
in the CD compartment and push down on the center of the disc until it ts into place, then close
the compartment cover. The total number of folders*/tracks appears on the display. The unit will
automatically start playing music.
NOTE: If there is no disc or the disc can’t be read, [NO] will show on the display.
Playback
Press to play/pause the playback.
Press and hold / to fast forward/rewind.
Press to stop the playback.
Select a track
Press / to skip to the previous/next track.
Press PRESET/+10/F+ to skip forward ten tracks.
