GENERAL INFORMATION AND SAFETY CONDITIONS
Inline skates can be used for recreational skating. Inline skating requires proper surface that should be at, clean and dry. Please
skate as far away as possible from other road users and following the tra󰀩c rules. No changes should be made to the product (in
particular to their structure), any type of modications may cause a threat to the user and thus forbidden. Before starting to skate,
make sure that all screws and nuts are property tightened. Please be aware that nuts and other self-securing xings may become
loose and therefore less secure and should be checked regularly. It is recommended to use protective gear for your knees, wrists,
elbows head and reective items. During skating its recommended to remain particularly careful and adjust the speed to surrounding
conditions and your own skills. It should be remembered that the wheels and bearings wear down after being used for certain period
of time and should be replaced in case of their signicant deterioration. The use of damaged or excessively worn-out equipment is
strictly forbidden!
Any construction changes are not allowed as they may impact safety of the product.
USER WEIGHT
Maximum user weight depends on the type of inline skates. Information about the maximum user weight is provided on the package
of each model.
Product grade: Qualied products.
Sizes 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 are class B and the weight range for class B users is 20 - 60 kg.
Sizes 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 are class A and the weight range for class A users is 20 - 100 kg.
THE STRUCTURE OF INLINE SKATES
Inline skates consist of two parts: the boot and the chassis with wheels. The boot can come with optional buckles, a velcro strap
and lacing. The blade is made of aluminium or polypropylene (PP) and xed to the boot. PP blade are light and more exible than
aluminium ones, therefore they are recommended for inline skates for the youngest users. Aluminium blades are more resistant to
deformation and more rigid, which ensures better control during skating. The wheels are most often of PU (polyurethane) or PVC.
WHEELS
The most important parameters of the wheels are their durability and diameter. The wheel’s durability, marked as a parameter A,
a󰀨ects e󰀩ciency and comfort of skating. Harder wheels wear out slower are faster but less comfortable. Soft wheels adapt better to
the surface and ensure greater traction.
Diameter of Nils Extreme wheels:
60-64 mm- wheels recommended for beginners
70-76 mm – wheels for recreation skating
80-90- wheels for fast skating, for intermediate and advanced users
How to change the wheels:
1. Unscrew axial bolts securing the wheels using a proper hex key
2. Remove the wheel from the chassis
3. Take out the hearings with the sleeve from the wheel
4. Insert the bearings with the sleeve in a new wheel
5. Mount wheels on the chassis and tighten axial screws.

Fixing screws of the wheels should not be tightened too much, because
they must rotate freely. The bearings should be closely packed and
require load for optimum performance. Wheels wear down after being
used for certain period of time. This causes deterioration on the inner side
of the wheels. Its advised to rotate the wheels 180˚ so that it wears down
evenly. Please follow below illustration.
Locking buckle
Size adjustment with the use of locking buckle which is most often
found on the bottom of the skate side
1. Before starting the adjustment, buckles, velcro straps and laces must
be loosened
2. Release the buckle
3. Set a required size by moving the mobile, front section of the boot
4. Lock the buckle to set the chosen size
Bearings
Good quality of bearings ensures uent skating. All bearings were greased and do not require next lubrication. Dusty, greasy and wet
surfaces should be avoided. Wet or damp bearings should be dried with clean cloth. Worn out bearings must be replaced. The bigger
the number by ABEC, the better the bearing’s precision and the material of which it was made.
Type of bearings Nils Extreme:
608z
608zz ABEC 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
How to change the bearings:
1. Remove wheels from the chassis
2. Take out the rst bearing from the wheel using a proper hex key
3. Next, take out the sleeve and the second bearing
4. Insert the rst bearing in the wheel
5. Insert the sleeve and the second bearing
6. Install the wheel and tighten the screw.
BRAKE
The brake serves to reduce speed while skating. This element is also subject to wear and tear during skating. The level of this
degradation is indicated by the angle between the lower surface of the brake and the surface we skate. If the angle is greater than
40˚, the brake should be changed.
How to change the brake:
1. Unscrew the axial screw located by the brake using a proper hex key
2. Remove the brake support from blade
3. Remove the brake from the support
4. Install a new brake
5. Mount the brake support on the blade and tighten the axial screw
