The multifunctional measuring detector is designed for detecting power lines, metal and wooden
objects.
The device is made for home use only; not for professional use.
Before use, read the instruction manual thoroughly and store it for later use.

Getting Started
1. Insert the 9 V battery into the detector. The battery compartment is located at the back.
2. Use alkaline batteries only, not rechargeable ones.
Detection of Hidden Objects
Before each use, the detector must be calibrated.
Press and hold the TEST button for ca 2 seconds.
The display will show an icon of the measured material (object).
Repeatedly press the SELECT button to choose the desired material (object) type:
wood metal live wire (AC)
Then place the detector at onto the wall where you want to search for hidden objects.

Short press the TEST button; the measuring graph will quickly ash on the screen and an audio signal
will sound – two rapid beeps.
The detector is now calibrated for the wall‘s thickness and you can begin detecting hidden objects.
An icon of the selected type of object will be ashing on the screen.
Slowly move the detector along the wall.
When the graph columns start getting closer to the centre column, you are approaching the object
you are looking for.
If all the columns of the graph are full and a constant audio signal can be heard, mark this location.
Then, proceed in a similar fashion but approach the object from the other side.
Once an audio signal sounds, mark this location.
The object you are looking for is located between these two positions.
If you are looking for a wooden object, the procedure is the same as in the instructions for „Detection
of Hidden Objects“.
Once the detector nds the object, mark its position.
To make sure the object is made of wood, switch to metal ( ) detection using the SELECT button.
Search for metal in the same spot. If the detector nds nothing, the object is made of wood.
If it does detect the object, then it is made of metal.
Turning the Detector O
Long press the SELECT button to end measurement and turn o the detector.
Flat Battery
If the battery in the detector is at, the display will show the icon.
Replace the battery.
A at battery can cause errors or inaccurate measurement results.
Warning
Test the detector before use by detecting the positions of known piping or power lines.
If in doubt, always contact a qualied civil engineer.
If the detector detects alternating current ( ), do not drill in this spot under any circumstances!
Risk of injury by electrical current.
Always turn o power if you are working in the vicinity of AC conductors.
Shielded conductors or live conductors placed in metal tubing, in metal-plated walls or in thick walls
will not be detected.
The device also will not detect telephone cables, TV cables, cut o cables or cables not under live
voltage.
The device is designed for detecting live 110/230 V~ electrical conductors. It will also detect the
presence of live conductors with voltage above 230 V~.
Remember that doors and windows are usually built of several types of material. Adapt your meas-
urement methods to this fact.
If the wall does not have a at surface at the point you wish to measure, place a piece of cardboard
paper on the wall.
Make measurements with only one hand. Do not approach the detector with your other hand.
If there is wallpaper on the wall containing metal particles or bres, the measurement results may
be distorted.

Care and Maintenance
The product is designed to provide trouble-free service for many years if used appropriately. Here is
some advice for proper operation:
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, extreme cold and moisture, and sudden changes in
temperature. This would reduce accuracy of detection.
• Do not place the product in locations prone to vibration and shocks – these may cause damage.
• Do not expose the product to excessive force, impacts, dust, high temperatures or humidity – these
may cause malfunction, shorter battery life, damage to batteries and deformation of plastic parts.
• Do not expose the product to rain or high humidity.
• Do not place any open ame sources on the product, e.g. a lit candle, etc.
• Do not place the product to places with inadequate air ow.
• Do not tamper with the internal electric circuits of the product – doing so may damage the product
and will automatically void the warranty.
• To clean the product, use a slightly moistened soft cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaning agents
– they could scratch the plastic parts and cause corrosion of the electric circuits.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• The product may not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
• In the event of damage or defect of the product, do not perform any repairs by yourself. Have it
repaired in the shop where you bought it.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or
mental disability or lack of experience and expertise prevents safe use, unless they are supervised
or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. It is necessary
to supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use sorted waste collec-
tion points. Contact local authorities for up-to-date information about collection points. If
electrical appliances are deposited in waste landlls, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater, get into the food chain and harm your health.

Uvedení do provozu
1. Vložte do detektoru 9V baterii, bateriový prostor je umístěn na zadní straně.
2. Používejte pouze alkalické baterie, nepoužívejte nabíjecí baterie.
Detekce skrytých objektů
Před každým použitím je zapotřebí detektor zkalibrovat.
Stiskněte tlačítko TEST po dobu cca 2 sekund.
Na displeji se zobrazí ikona měřeného materiálu (objektu).
Opakovaným stiskem tlačítka SELECT zvolte požadovaný druh materiálu (objektu):
dřevo kov vedení pod proudem (AC)
Potom přiložte detektor naplocho ke stěně, kde chcete vyhledávat skryté předměty.
Stiskněte krátce tlačítko TEST, na displeji problikne měřící graf a zazní zvukový signál – dvojité
rychlé pípnutí.
Detektor je nyní zkalibrován na sílu stěny a můžete začít s detekcí skrytých objektů.
Na displeji bude blikat ikona zvoleného druhu předmětu.
Pomalu jeďte měřícím detektorem podél stěny.
Když se sloupce grafu přibližují ke středovému sloupci, blížíte se k hledanému objektu.
Jsou-li všechny sloupce grafu kompletní a zazní trvalý zvukový signál, označte si tuto pozici.
Potom postupujte stejným způsobem, jen se k objektu přibližujte z druhé strany.
Jakmile zazní zvukový signál, označte tuto pozici.
Mezi těmito pozicemi je umístěn hledaný objekt.
V případě, že hledáte dřevěný objekt, postupujte stejně podle pokynů „Detekce skrytých objektů“.
Jakmile detektor najde objekt, označte jej.
Pro ujištění, že je objekt ze dřeva, přepněte tlačítkem SELECT na kov ( ).
Na stejném místě hledejte kov. Pokud detektor nenajde nic, je objekt ze dřeva.
Pokud něco najde, je objekt z kovu.
