GB | Voltage Tester
VT-211 is a tester designed for two-pole measurement of DC and AC voltage in a range of 6 to 400
V and frequency of 0–60 Hz, and for determining the polarity of DC voltage. The tester complies
with standard EN 61243-3:2014 in the 6–400 V / CAT III 400 V range. The tester can be used for
making measurements on electrical wiring and devices falling within overvoltage category CAT
III 400 V. Overvoltage category CAT III also includes category CAT II for electrical devices and
equipment with special requirements for safety and usability. These are, for instance, domestic
wiring, protective installations, power sockets, switches, circuit breakers, etc.

Use
The tester indicates voltage by lighting up LEDs up to the measured voltage. First, touch the
live portion (L) of the circuit with the tip located on the xed part of the tester. Then touch the
neutral portion (N) using the mobile tip. If the circuit is powered and you are measuring correctly,
LEDs indicating the corresponding voltage will light up. When measuring DC voltage, only the
corresponding polarity (+/-) will be indicated. The xed tip is the positive pole.
Maintenance
The tester is maintenance-free.
Cleaning
The body of the tester may occasionally be cleaned with a soft cloth slightly moistened in a mild
solution of a common household cleaner. Do not use aggressive solvents. Make sure water does
not enter the interior of the tester. Could cause damage or short circuit.
WARNING
• Do not use the device if the lead or cover are damaged.

• The device may only be operated by a responsible and trained person.
• Do not test voltage through contact if you do not know the exact voltage in the circuit!
• ATTENTION! Measurement time must not be longer than 10 seconds, especially in higher
voltages.
• The maximum measurement time must not exceed 30 seconds or the device will become
damaged.
• A 240 second pause must follow after each measurement.
• When measuring, hold the probe behind the mechanical barrier on the tester body. This
will prevent accidental contact with the metal portion of the probe, which could otherwise
cause injury by electric current during measurement.
• The voltage listed on the tester is rated voltage. The tester may only be used on electrical
installations with the listed rated voltage.
• The tester can only be used for testing voltages above the ELV (extra low voltage) threshold.
• The tester must be checked before and after testing. The tester must not be used if the
indicators on the tester are failing.
• Do not modify the measuring tips or any other parts of the tester. If the tester is malfunc-
tioning or otherwise damaged, have it repaired in a professional repair shop.
• Do not use the tester if its components are wet.

Zkoušečka VT-211 je určená ke dvojpólovému měření velikosti stejnosměrného a střídavého napětí
od 6 do 400 V s frekvencí 0–60 Hz a určení polarity stejnosměrného napětí. Zkoušečka vyhovuje
normě EN 61243-3:2014, v rozsahu 6–400 V / CAT III 400 V. S touto zkoušečkou můžete provádět
měření v elektrických instalacích a zařízeních, které odpovídají přepěťové kategorii CAT III 400 V.
Do přepěťové kategorie CAT III je zahrnuta také kategorie CAT II pro elektrické provozní prostředky,
na které jsou kladeny zvláštní požadavky ohledně bezpečnosti a jejich použitelnosti. Jedná se
například o domovní elektrické instalace, ochranná zařízení, síťové zásuvky, spínače, jističe atd.

Použití
Zkoušečka indikuje měření napětí tak, že se rozsvítí LED diody až do velikosti naměřeného napětí.
Nejdříve se dotkněte živé části (L) hrotem, který je na pevné části těla zkoušečky. Pohyblivým
hrotem se dotkněte neutrální části (N). Pokud je obvod pod napětím a měříte správně, rozsvítí se
LED diody pro velikost napětí. Při měření stejnosměrného napětí se rozsvítí odpovídající polarita
+/-. Pevný hrot je plus.
Údržba
Zkoušečka je bezúdržbová – nemá žádné servisní části.
Čištění
Tělo zkoušečky lze občas očistit jemnou tkaninou mírně namočenou do slabého roztoku s běžným
domácím čističem. Nepoužívejte agresivní rozpouštědla. Dbejte na to, aby se voda nedostala dovnitř
zkoušečky. Mohlo by dojít ke zkratu a poškození.
