•When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert

•Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different

4. Getting Started
4.1 Inserting the battery
Remove the battery that was already inserted intothe clock, remove the protective lm if
necessary as wellasthe contact interrupter and the re-insert the battery with thecorrect
polarity. Theclock is ready foroperation.
4.2Replacingthe battery
Removeand dispose of any used batteries. Insert the newbattery (AA). Ensurethat the polarity
ofthe battery corresponds to the symbols in the battery compartment (18).
5. Installation
Warning –Mounting Note
•Beforemounting the clock, ensurethat the chosen wallissuitable for
the weight to be mounted, and make surethat thereare no electrical
wires, water,gas or other lines at the installationsite on the wall.
•Purchase special fastening materials from specialised dealers.
•Do not mount the product above locations wherepersons might linger.
•Youcan mount the wallclock on awallusing the opening on the back (12).
•Youcan also stand the wallclock on alevel surface using the base (13).
6. Operation
Note –Input
Hold down the UP button(16) or the DOWN button(17) to select the
values faster.
6.1. Automaticsetting using the DCF signal
•Once the batteries areinserted, the clock automatically searches foraDCF signal. During
the search, the wireless icon(11) ashes.

•If the station stilldoes notreceive asignal, press and hold the UP button (16) and the
DOWN button (17) for approx.3seconds to start the manual search forthe DCF signal.
The wireless icon (11) willstart to ash.
Note –Timesettings
•The search process takes about 3-10 minutes. If thesearch fails, it ends
and is repeated at the next clock hour.The wireless icon(11) disappears.
•In the meantime youcan, however,set the time and the date manually.
•The clock automatically continues to search forthe DCF signal on adaily
basis (between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.). If thesignal is received successfully,the
manually-set time and date areoverwritten.
Note – Summer time
The clock automatically switches to summer time. S(9) appears on the
display as long as summer time is activated.

•Press and hold the UP button (16) and the DOWN button (17) again for approx. 3
seconds to stop the manual search.
6.2. (Manual) settings
•Press and hold the UP button (16) and the DOWN button (17) for approx. 3seconds
to stop the search for the DCF signal. The wireless icon (11) disappears and you can set
the time manually
•Press and hold the MODE button (14) for approx. 3seconds to make the following
settings one after the other:
•Hours (2)
•Minutes (2)
•Year (2)
•Month (4)
•Day (3)
•To select individual values, press the UP button (16) or the DOWN button (17) and
conrm each selection by pressing the MODE button (14).
•While you aresetting the minutes or seconds,press the °F/°C button (15) to switch
between the 12-hour (a.m./p.m.) and 24-hour formats.
•If you do not make an entry for 10 seconds, you automatically exit the setupmode.
•Press and hold the DOWN button (17) until the desired language for theweek display
(5) appears.
Note – Day of the week
Youcan choose from English (GB), French (FR), German (DE), Spanish (ES),
Dutch (DU)and Italian(IT)for the display of the dayofthe week.
6.3. Time zone
Note – Time zone
•The DCF signal can be received over long distances, butalwaystransmits
the current Central European Time in Germany.Makesureyou account for
the time difference in countries with another time zone.
•If you areinMoscow,the time is 3hours later than in Germany.This means that you
should set +3 for the time zone. The clock then automatically sets the time to 3hours
after the DCF signal received or relative to the manually set time.
•Press and hold the UP button (16) for approx. 3seconds to display the time in adifferent
time zone. The time zone icon (8) is displayed.
•Press and hold the MODE button (14) for approx. 3seconds to set the required time
zone difference. The hours display (2) begins to ash.
•To select the time difference (+/- 12 hours), press the UP button (16) or the DOWN
button (17) and conrm each selection by pressing the MODE button (14).
•If you do not make an entry for 10 seconds,you automatically exit the setupmode.
•Press and hold the UP button (16) forapprox. 3seconds to return to the normal time
display
6.4. Celsius /Fahrenheit
•Press the °F/°C button (15) to choose between °C and °F for the temperature display.
6.5. Moon phases
The clock indicates the current moon phase (6) with the following icons.

6.6. Low battery charge
When the battery icon (10) appears on the display,the battery charge is very low.Replace
the battery immediately.
7. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this productwith aslightly moist, lint-free cloth, and do notuse aggressive
cleaning agents. Make surethat water does not get into the product.

4. Inbetriebnahme
4.1. Batterieeinlegen
•EntnehmenSie die bereits eingelegte Batterie, entfernen Sie gegebenenfalls die
Sicherheitsfolie sowie den Kontaktunterbrecher und legen Siedie Batteriepolrichtigein.
Die Uhrist betriebsbereit.
4.2. Batterie wechseln
•Entnehmen und entsorgen Sie ggfs. die verbrauchte Batterie. Legen Sie eine neue
Batterie (AA) ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polarität entsprechend der Zeichnung
im Batteriefach (18).
5. Montage
Warnung –Montagehinweis
•Prüfen Sie vor Montage die Eignung der vorgesehenen Wand für das anzubringende
Gewicht und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich an derMontagestelleinder Wand keine
elektrischen Leitungen, Wasser-, Gas- oder sonstige Leitungen benden.
•Besorgen Sie sich geeignetes Befestigungsmaterial im Fachhandel!
•Montieren Sie dasProdukt nicht an Orten, unter denen sich Personen aufhalten könnten.
•Sie können die Wanduhr mithilfe der Aussparung auf der Rückseite (12) an einer Wand
montieren.
•Alternativ stellen Sie die Wanduhr mithilfe des Standfußes (13) auf einer ebenen Fläche
auf.
6. Betrieb
Hinweis–Eingabe
Halten Sie die UP -Taste (16) oder die DOWN -Taste (17) gedrückt, um
die Werte schneller auswählen zu können.
6.1. Automatische Einstellung nach DCF-Signal
•Nach dem Einlegen der Batterie beginnt die Uhr automatisch die Suche nach einem
DCF-Signal. Während des Suchvorgangs blinkt das Funksymbol (11) auf.

•Wirdwiederholt kein Signal empfangen, drücken und halten Sie die UP -Taste (16) und
