4. Safety instructions
•The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
•Use the product only for the intended purpose.
•Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating anduse it in dry
environments only.
•Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources
or in direct sunlight.
•As with allelectrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of
children.
•Do not operate the product outside the power limits specied in the technical
data.
•Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products arenot permitted.
•Do not use the product in adamp environmentand avoid splashing water.

Warning–Batteries
•When inserting batteries,notethe correct polarity(+and -markings)and
insert the batteries accordingly.Failuretodosocould result in the batteries
leaking or exploding.
•Only use batteries that match the specied type. Keep the instructions for the
correct choice of batteries included with the operating instructions of devices
safe for futurereference.
•Beforeyou insert the batteries,clean the battery contacts and the polarity
contacts.
•Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
•Replace allthe batteries in aset at the same time.
•Do not mix old and new batteries,orbatteries of different types or from
different manufacturers.
•Remove the batteries from products thatare not being used for an extended
period (unless these arebeing kept ready for an emergency).

5. Getting started
5.1. Insertingthe battery
Open the battery compartment cover (E),remove the contactinterrupter and close
the battery compartment cover (E) again. The clockisready for operation.
5.2. Changingthe battery
•Remove and dispose of the spent battery if required. Insert four new batteries
(AA). Take caretoensurethe correct polarity as shown in the diagram in the
battery compartment (E).
5.3. Low battery
•As soon as the battery symbol (2) appears on the wallclock's display,the
battery capacity is very low.Change the battery immediately.
6. Installation
Warning-installation instructions
•Beforemounting, check that the wallyou have chosen is suitable for the weight
to be mounted. Also make surethat thereare no electric, water, gas or otherlines
running through the wallatthe mounting site.
•Obtain suitable attachment material from specialist retailers.
•Do not mount the product above locations wherepersons might sit or stand.
•Youcan attach the wallclock to awallusing the cut-out on the back(G).
•Alternatively,place the wallclock on a at surfaceusing the stand (F).
7. Operation
Information -entry
Hold the button (C) or button (D) down to
select the values morequickly.
7.1 Automatic adjustment according to the DCF signal
•After the batteries areinserted, the clock automatically startstosearch for aDCF
signal. The radio symbol (3) ashes during the search process.

•If no signal is received on arepeated basis, pressand hold the button (B) for
around 3seconds to start the manual search for the DCFsignal. The radiosignal
(3)startstoash.
Note
Be awarethatelectronic devices such as TVs, PCs, etc. can interferewith
reception. The interference range of such devices can be up to two metres
Note -setting the time
•If no DCF radio signal is received within the rst few minutes of the initial setup
procedure, the search is terminated. The radio symbol disappears.
•In the event of reception problems, we recommendleaving the clock standing
overnight since the interference signals aregenerally fewer in number atthis
time.
•Meanwhile, you can carry out amanual search for the DCFradiosignal at a
different location or set the date andtimemanually.
•The clock automatically continues to search for the DCFsignal every day.
Once the signal is received successfully,the manually set time and date are
overwritten.
Note -summertime
•The time adjusts automatically to summertime.While summertime is active, S
(4) appears on the display.
•Press and hold the button (B) for around 3secondstoend the manual search
process.
Note -time zone
•The DCF signal can be received in many places, however it does notalways
correspond to the CET applicable in Germany. Youshould thereforeremember
to take into account the timedifference in countries with adifferent time zone.
•Moscow,for example, is 3hours ahead of Germany. Set thetimetothe time
zone +3.The clockwillthenautomatically set itself 3hours aheadofthe time
received from the DCF signal or the time set manually.
8. (Manual) settings
•Press and hold the button (A) for around 3secondstocarry outthe following
settings in sequence:
•Year
•Month
•Day
•Language
•Time zone
•Hour
•Minute
•DCF signal ON/OFF
•Press the button (C) or button (D) to select the individualvalues and
conrm your selection by pressing the button (A).
•Pressthe button (A) directly to adopt and skip the displayed value.
•If no entries aremade for 20 seconds, the clock automatically exits settings
mode.
Note -disablingradio mode
•Youcan completely disable radio mode. In settings mode, select"OFF" to
disable radio mode.
•As described in 8. (Manual) settings, set the time anddate.
•In settings mode, select"ON" to re-enable radio mode.
•The radio symbol (3) appears in the display and the clock onceagain searches
forthe radio signal.
Note -day of the week
Forthe display of the days of the week, you can chooseGerman (GER),English
(ENG), French (FRE),Italian (ITA), Spanish(SPA),Dutch (DUT) or Danish (DAN).
9. Celsius /Fahrenheit
Press the button (D) to switchthe temperature displaybetween °C and °F.
Note -12/24-hour format
Once theradio signalisreceived, the time is shown in the24-hour format. Press
the button (C) to switchthe time display between the 12-hour format and
24-hour format. In 12-hour format,either AM or PM appears in the display.
10. Care and Maintenance
•Only cleanthis product withaslightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use
aggressive cleaning agents.
•Ensurethat no water is able to enter the product.

5. Inbetriebnahme
5.1. Batterie einlegen
Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung (E), entfernen Sie den Kontaktunterbrecher
und schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung (E)wieder.Die Uhr ist betriebsbereit.
5.2. Batterie wechseln
•Entnehmen und entsorgen Sie ggfs. die verbrauchteBatterie. Legen Sie vier neue
Batterien (AA) ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die korrektePolarität entsprechend der
Zeichnung im Batteriefach (E).
5.3. Niedrige Batteriekapazität
•Sobald dasBatteriesymbol (2) auf dem Display der Wanduhr angezeigt
wird, ist die Kapazität sehr gering. Wechseln Sie die Batterien umgehend aus.
6. Montage
Warnung–Montagehinweis
•Prüfen Sie vor Montage die Eignung der vorgesehenen Wand für das anzubringende
Gewicht und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich an der Montagestelleinder Wand
keine elektrischen Leitungen, Wasser-, Gas- oder sonstige Leitungenbenden.
•Besorgen Sie sich geeignetesBefestigungsmaterial im Fachhandel!
•Montieren Sie das Produkt nicht an Orten, unter denen sich Personen aufhalten
könnten.
•Sie können die Wanduhr mithilfe der Aussparungen auf der Rückseite(G) an einer
Wand montieren.
•Alternativ stellen Sie die Wanduhr mithilfe der Standfüße (F) auf einer ebenen
Fläche auf.
7. Betrieb
Hinweis –Eingabe
Halten Sie die -Taste (C)oder die -Taste (D) gedrückt,um
dieWerte schneller auswählen zu können.
7.1Automatische Einstellung nach DCF-Signal
•Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien beginnt die Uhrautomatischdie Suche nach
einem DCF-Signal. Während des Suchvorgangs blinkt das Funksymbol (3)auf.
