Getting started
This device has a built-in 8GB MicroSD card. A photo or video will be saved automatically.
Install batteries
Open the battery compartment cover and insert the battery according to the correct polarity marks. Close the cover.
Button panel and device settings
ON/OFF/OK button
Press and hold the ON/OFF/OK button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or o.
Turn the focusing wheel to adjust the focus.
Button functions: 1) takes a picture in Photo mode; 2) starts and stops video recording in Video mode; 3) enters the sub-menu.
Notes:
• If the device fails to activate, check for defective or improperly installed batteries. Always only use the recommended batteries.
• If you wear glasses, keep them on while using the device.
• Video is recorded without sound.
UP button / DOWN button
Button functions: 1) IR brightness level up/down; 2) Zoom in/out; 3) scroll the menu.
IR button
If the light is insucient or when used in the evening, turn on the IR by pressing the IR button. The image will change from color to
black and white. You may select the brightness level from 1 to 6. The brightness values will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Notes:
• Do not use IR in daylight (when IR is on, you will have a color image, when IR is o — black and white image).
• If the battery power is not enough, the IR LED level will lower automatically. If only half power is le, the max. brightness level is 5.
If only 25% power is le, the max. brightness level is 3. If the battery power is lower than 25%, the IR LED cannot be activated.

Brightness adjustment button
Press the brightness adjustment button to increase/decrease the LCD screen brightness level. There are 9 brightness levels.
WI-FI connection
Before using the remote control of this device, download an app StarNavi from the Apple App Store or from Google Play and install it
on your tablet or smartphone.
• Turn on the device.
• Turn the Wi-Fi on in the menu section of the device.
• Start the app on your smartphone, nd account "NIGHTHERO_*****", and enter the initial password "12345678".
MODE button
This button switches between 3 in-built modes: 1) photo mode; 2) video mode; and 3) playback mode.
The default mode is photo.
Menu options
• To change the settings, scroll up (UP) or down (DOWN).
• Select the highlighted item by pressing the ON/OFF/OK button.
• In the menu, you can set the timer, turn the Wi-Fi connection on or o, change the password, and delete all of the les from the
MicroSD card.
Copying les
You can transfer les from the device to your smartphone, tablet, or PC directly. Connect the device to your computer with a USB
cable.
Cleaning and precautions
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight — that could cause a re!
Do not scratch or touch the optical surfaces with your ngers.
Remove the batteries before cleaning the device! Use only dry, lint-free cloths to wipe the outer parts of the device. Do not use
cleaning uid to avoid the electronics damage. To avoid scratching the lenses, only use a so cloth and do not press too hard. Keep
the device away from dust and water. Keep the device in a bag or a box. Remove the batteries from the device if it has not been used
for a long time.
Battery safety instructions
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries
at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of dierent types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the
device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries
from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries
as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble
batteries. Remember to switch o devices aer use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suocation,
or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.

Да започнем
Този уред има вградена microSD карта 8 GB. Снимките или видеоматериалите се запаметяват автоматично.
Монтиране на батериите
Отворете капака на отделението за батериите и поставете батерията, като спазвате знаците за поляритета. Затворете капака.
Панел с бутони и настройки на устройството
Бутон ON/OFF/OK
Натиснете и задръжте натиснат 3 секунди бутона ON/OFF/OK за включване или изключване на устройството.
Въртете колелото за фокусиране, за да регулирате фокуса.

Бутон UP / Бутон DOWN
Функции на бутона: 1) увеличаване/намаляване на яркостта на инфрачервеното осветление; 2) промяна на увеличението; 3)
превъртане на менюто.
Бутон IR
Ако светлината е недостатъчна или при използване вечер, включете инфрачервеното осветление чрез натискане на бутона
IR. Изображението ще се смени от цветно на черно-бяло. Можете да избирате ниво на яркостта от 1 до 6. Стойностите на
яркостта ще се показват на течнокристалния екран.
