ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
Safety, performance, and dependability
have been given top priority in the
design of your soldering iron.
INTENDED USE
The soldering iron is only intended for
soldering circuits, electrical connections,
jewellery, stained glass, and other crafts.
Do not use the product for any other
purpose.
SOLDERING IRON SAFETY
WARNINGS
ŶThis appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
ŶThe product is intended for
household use only.
ŶAlways place the soldering tip cover
on the product before laying the
product down. Lay the product on its
side where the base is located, so
the tip does not come in contact with
anything while it is heating or when
not in use. Following this rule will
reduce the risk of damage to items,
burns, fire or serious personal injury.
ŶDo not touch the heated tip of the
soldering iron.
ŶAlways assume that the soldering
iron tip is hot.
ŶUse the soldering iron in a well-
ventilated area to avoid breathing
fumes.
ŶDo not point the tip of the soldering
iron at another person.
ŶDo not place your hands or fingers
near the tip of the soldering iron.
ŶNever leave the product unattended
while it is in the on position.
ŶAlways remove the battery pack and
allow the soldering tip to cool for a
minimum of 10 minutes before removing
the tip. Touching a hot soldering tip can
result in serious personal injury.
ŶAlways remove the battery pack
and allow the product to cool before
leaving, transporting, or storing.
Storing a soldering iron with a hot
tip can cause serious burns and/or
ignite combustible objects.
ŶRemove the battery pack from
the product before making any
adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing the product. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the product accidentally.
ŶDo not allow children to use the
soldering iron. It is not a toy.
ŶDo not solder live circuits.
ŶDo not disassemble the product.
ŶThe soldering iron tip is sharp. Do
not touch the tip or allow it to come
in contact with anything other than
soldering wire and the workpiece
material.
ŶExhausted batteries are to be
removed from the product and
safely disposed of.
ŶIf the product is to be stored unused
for a long period, the batteries
should be removed.
ŶThe supply terminals are not to be
short-circuited.

ŶTo reduce the risk of fire, personal
injury, and product damage due to
a short circuit, never immerse the
tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid
or allow fluid to flow inside them.
Corrosive or conductive fluids,
such as seawater, certain industrial
chemicals, and bleach or bleach-
containing products, etc., can cause
a short circuit.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance
with local and national provisions and
regulations.
Follow all special requirements
on packaging and labelling when
transporting batteries by a third party.
Ensure that no batteries can come
in contact with other batteries or
conductive materials while in transport
by protecting exposed connectors with
insulating, non-conductive caps or
tape. Do not transport batteries that
are cracked or leaking. Check with the
forwarding company for further advice.

MAINTENANCE
ŶThe product should never be
connected to a power source
when assembling parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, performing
maintenance, or when the product
is not in use. Disconnecting the
product from the power supply will
prevent accidental starting that
could cause serious injury.
ŶWhen servicing, use only original
manufacturer’s replacement parts,
accessories, and attachments. Use
of any other parts may create a
hazard or cause product damage.
ŶAvoid using solvents when cleaning
plastic parts. Most plastics are
susceptible to various types of
commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc.
ŶDo not at any time let brake
fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products, penetrating oils, etc.,
come in contact with plastic parts.
Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in
serious personal injury.
