EN
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
-Read the instrucons carefully before use.
-Take special care when children are near the device.
-Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which
it was intended.
-
Do not immerse the device, cable or charger in water or other
liquids.
-Do not leave the device unaended during operaon.
-Always remove the plug from the mains socket when not in use
or before cleaning.
-
Never use a damaged device, including one with a damaged cord or
plug, in which case have it repaired at an authorised service centre.
-Do not use the device outdoors.
-Do not hang the power cable on sharp edges or allow it to come
into contact with hot surfaces.
-
Never ll the kele above the maximum or minimum level as
overlling it may result with splashing boiling water.
-Make sure the kele is turned o before placing on its base.
-
Cauon! Burns risk. The kele housing heats up during operaon
and maintains a high temperature even aer the device is turned
o. Do not touch the casing if hot water is present in the kele.
-
Warning! Do not remove/open the kele lid while water is boil-
ing inside. The lid must remain closed when boiling / pouring
out water.
-The kele can be used only with the base aached to it.
-Do not place the kele near a heat source or hot surfaces.
-The kele should only be used with the aached lter.
-The kele was produced solely for water boiling.
-Use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause damage to the appliance, re or personal injury.
-The device should be put on a dry, at and stable surface.
-The device should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a
grounding pin!
-The device is intended for domesc use only.
-
This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age
and by persons of diminished physical, mental capacity and lack
of experience and knowledge of the equipment if supervision or

instrucon is provided regarding the safe use of the equipment so
that the hazards involved are understood. Cleaning and mainte-
nance must not be performed by children, unless they are over 8
years old and supervised by an adult. Unsupervised children can
not perform cleaning and maintenance of the product.

The appliance is not a toy and should not be used as such by
children.
-
Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children under 8
years of age.
-Do not pull the plug out of the power socket by pulling the cord.
-CAUTION Risk of electric shock - be careful not to splash elec-
trical components of the appliance when operang it. Parcular
aenon should be paid to the jug connector and its base. If
electrical components are splashed, clean and dry them thor-
oughly before using the appliance again.
-Do not turn on the kele without water inside it.
-The equipment is not designed to operate using external mers
or a separate remote control.
-Do not connect the plug to the power socket with wet hands.
-Allow the kele to cool down completely before cleaning it.
-
For the safety of children, please do not leave freely accessible parts
of the packaging (plasc bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene, etc.).
-
Before the rst use, remove all bags, sckers, tapes and transport
locks from the device and its accessories.
-

PREPARATION FOR USE
In order to remove factory deposits, protecve lms, etc. that may be present on a brand new device,
ll the kele with water to the maximum level, boil the water and then rinse the device. This operaon
should be repeated at least 5 mes, by proceeding as described below.

USING THE KETTLE
1. Before lling the kele with water, remove it from the base (7).
2. Open the kele lid (2) by pulling the handle (3) and ll the kele with water to the desired level
(however, the water level must not exceed the MIN (0.5 l) and MAX marks (1.8 L). Close the lid (2)
carefully.
3. Place the kele on the base (7). Turn on the kele by using the switch (5).
4. The kele will turn o automacally, when the water starts boiling. However, if necessary, it can
be turned o earlier by using the switch (5).
5. Aer boiling water or switching o the kele, wait approx. 15-20 seconds before switching it back
on. The overheang protecon system turns the device o when the kele is turned on without
water. Allow the kele to cool down for approx. 15 minutes before relling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regularly clean the kele from lime deposits. Use dedicated kele descalers (follow the instrucons
in the descaler manual) or a mixture of water with vinegar or citric acid. Failure to descale the kele
may result with device damage. Wipe the kele inside and out with a cloth. Do not use a wire brush,
scouring pads or strong detergents.

Proper disposal of the product (waste electrical and electronic equipment)
Marking on the product indicates that aer the service-life of the product expires, it should not be dis-
posed with other type of municipal waste. Used equipment may have a negave impact on the environ-
ment and health of people due to potenally containing hazardous substances, mixtures and components.
Mixing electric waste with other types of waste or disassembling those in an unprofessional manner may
cause a release of substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Used equipment should
be handed-over to a point for collecon of electric waste. In order to obtain detailed informaon regarding the
electric waste collecon points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric waste collecon or used
equipment processing department.
