EN
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
-Read the instrucons carefully before use.
-Take special care when children are near the device.
-Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which
it was intended.
-
Do not immerse the device, cable or charger in water or other
liquids.
-Do not leave the device unaended during operaon.
-Always remove the plug from the mains socket when not in use
or before cleaning.
-
Never use a damaged device, including one with a damaged cord or
plug, in which case have it repaired at an authorised service centre.
-Do not use the device outdoors.
-Do not hang the power cable on sharp edges or allow it to come
into contact with hot surfaces.
-
Never ll the kele above the maximum or minimum level as
overlling it may result with splashing boiling water.
-Make sure the kele is turned o before placing on its base.
-
Cauon! Burns risk. The kele housing heats up during operaon
and maintains a high temperature even aer the device is turned
o. Do not touch the casing if hot water is present in the kele.
-
Warning! Do not remove/open the kele lid while water is boil-
ing inside. The lid must remain closed when boiling / pouring
out water.
-The kele can be used only with the base aached to it.
-Do not place the kele near a heat source or hot surfaces.
-The kele should only be used with the aached lter.
-The kele was produced solely for water boiling.
-Use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause damage to the appliance, re or personal injury.
-The device should be put on a dry, at and stable surface.
-The device should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a
grounding pin!
-The device is intended for domesc use only.
-
This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age
and by persons of diminished physical, mental capacity and lack
of experience and knowledge of the equipment if supervision or

instrucon is provided regarding the safe use of the equipment so
that the hazards involved are understood. Cleaning and mainte-
nance must not be performed by children, unless they are over 8
years old and supervised by an adult. Unsupervised children can
not perform cleaning and maintenance of the product.

The appliance is not a toy and should not be used as such by
children.
-
Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children under 8
years of age.
-Do not pull the plug out of the power socket by pulling the cord.
-CAUTION Risk of electric shock - be careful not to splash elec-
trical components of the appliance when operang it. Parcular
aenon should be paid to the jug connector and its base. If
electrical components are splashed, clean and dry them thor-
oughly before using the appliance again.
-Do not turn on the kele without water inside it.
-The equipment is not designed to operate using external mers
or a separate remote control.
-Do not connect the plug to the power socket with wet hands.
-Allow the kele to cool down completely before cleaning it.

For the safety of children, please do not leave freely accessible parts
of the packaging (plasc bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene, etc.).

Before the rst use, remove all bags, sckers, tapes and transport
locks from the device and its accessories.

PREPARATION FOR USE
In order to remove factory deposits, protecve lms, etc. that may be present on a brand new device,
ll the kele with water to the maximum level, boil the water and then rinse the device. This operaon
should be repeated at least 5 mes, by proceeding as described below.

USING THE KETTLE
1. Before lling the kele with water, remove it from the base (7).
2. Open the kele lid (2) by pulling the handle (3) and ll the kele with water to the desired level
(however, the water level must not exceed the MIN (0.5 l) and MAX marks (1.8 L). Close the lid (2)
carefully.
3. Place the kele on the base (7). Turn on the kele by using the switch (5).
4. The kele will turn o automacally, when the water starts boiling. However, if necessary, it can
be turned o earlier by using the switch (5).
5. Aer boiling water or switching o the kele, wait approx. 15-20 seconds before switching it back
on. The overheang protecon system turns the device o when the kele is turned on without
water. Allow the kele to cool down for approx. 15 minutes before relling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regularly clean the kele from lime deposits. Use dedicated kele descalers (follow the instrucons
in the descaler manual) or a mixture of water with vinegar or citric acid. Failure to descale the kele
may result with device damage. Wipe the kele inside and out with a cloth. Do not use a wire brush,
scouring pads or strong detergents.

Proper disposal of the product (waste electrical and electronic equipment)
Marking on the product indicates that aer the service-life of the product expires, it should not be dis-
posed with other type of municipal waste. Used equipment may have a negave impact on the environ-
ment and health of people due to potenally containing hazardous substances, mixtures and components.
Mixing electric waste with other types of waste or disassembling those in an unprofessional manner may
cause a release of substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Used equipment should
be handed-over to a point for collecon of electric waste. In order to obtain detailed informaon regarding the
electric waste collecon points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric waste collecon or used
equipment processing department.
