Intended use
The Nedis KAIP123CBK1 is an induction hot plate with a single
cooking zone.
The Nedis KAIP124CBK2 is an induction hot plate with a 2-zone
power sharing function.
This product is intended for preparing food in metal, ferromagnetic
stainless steel or cast iron cookware with a at cooking surface.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
This product is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or a separate remote control system.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done
by children without supervision.
The product is intended for use in household environments for
typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert
users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, oces
other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in
hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in
bed and breakfast type environments.
Any modication of the product may have consequences for safety,
warranty and proper functioning.

WARNING

this document before you install or use the product. Keep the
packaging and this document for future reference.
• Only use the product as described in this document.
• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace
a damaged or defective product immediately.
• Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
• This product may only be serviced by a qualied technician for
maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Do not open the product, there are no user serviceable parts
inside.
• The power cable cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged the
product should be scrapped.
• The surfaces of the product get hot during use.
• Keep the product and power cable out of reach of children under
8 years of age.
• Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and
lids in or on the product since they can get hot.
• Do not dismantle, open or shred cells. Batteries should be
dismantled only by trained personnel.
• Before cleaning and maintenance, switch o the product and
disconnect the power. Let the product cool down completely.
• Do not immerse the product in water.

Before rst use
1. Clean the product with a damp cloth.
2. Place the product on a stable and at surface.
3. Plug the power cable A2 into a power outlet.
A beep sounds, the LED display A7 will blink once and the on/o
button Aw will start blinking.

Turning the product on
1. Place suitable cookware on the cooking plate A1.
2. Press the on/o button Aw to switch on the product.
The LED display A7 shows “ON”.
The product is ready for use.
Turning the product o
After use press the on/o button Aw to switch o the product.

The product is subject to residual heat after use.
Setting the power
1. Press the power button Aq.
2. Press the reduce button A6 or the increase button A8 to set
the desired power.
4Press the max button A3 to set the power to 2000 W.
Setting the temperature
1. Press the temperature button A9.
2. Press the reduce button A6 or the increase button A8 to set
the desired temperature.
Setting the timer
1. Press the timer button A5.
2. Press the reduce button A6 or the increase button A8 to set
the desired time.
3. Press the timer button A5 to conrm.
4To cancel the timer, press the on/o button Aw.
Locking the product
1. Press the lock button A4.
A beep sounds, The LED display A7 shows “Loc”.
4Hold the lock button A4 for 3 seconds to unlock the product or
press the on/o button Aw to shut down the product.
Appropriate cookware
• Metal, ferromagnetic stainless steel or cast iron.
• Flat bottom with a diameter of 12 – 20 cm.
