ROT
ARY
BUFFER
Safety
tips
for
using
the
rotar
y
buffer:
a)
This po
wer tool
is not
intended for
polishing.
Using a
power
tool
to
perform jobs
it
is not
designed
for can
be dangerous
and may
result
in
injuries.
b)
Do
not use
accessories designed,
intended or
recommended
by the manufacturer for use
not specifically with
this power
tool.
Even
if an ac
cessory can
be installed on
the power
tool,
it does
not
mean
it
provides
safe
use or
operation.
c)
The diameters
of buffing
disks and flanges
must perfec
tly fit
the power tool spindle.
T
ool
bits
with openings
that
do not
match
perfectly
the
spindle
diameter
,
rotate
non-uniformly
and
vibrate
intensely
,
which
may
result
in
losing
control
over
the
power
tool.
d)
It
is
absolutely
prohibited
to
use
any
damaged
tool
bits.
Before
each
use
check
its
accessories
e.g.
buffer
pads
f
or
tears,
excessive
wear
and dirt, buffing
disks f
or cracks,
loss of
material
or
wear
.
If the
po
wer
tool
or a
tool bit
is dropped,
check
it
for
any
damage
or
use
any
other
undamaged
one.
Once
the
tool
bit
is
check
ed
and
a
ttached,
stand
in
other
plane
than
the
tool
bit
rota
tion
plane.
Set
and
switch
the
power
tool
to
its
maximum
speed
(revs),
making
sure
that
the
operator
and
other persons
staying
in the
vicinity
are bey
ond
the
zone
of
rota
ting
tool
bit.
Damaged
tool
bits
usually
break
during
this
trial
period.
e)
Do
not
leave
any
loose
items, first
of
all
,
fixing
strings near
the buffer pad. The fixing
strings should
be hidden or
cut to
fit.
Any loose
, rotating strings may capture y
our fingers or entangle in
the
object
being buffed
.
f
)
Wear
personal
protective
equipment
(PPO).
Depending
on
the
operation,
wear
a
face
mask,
eye
protection
or
saf
ety
glasses.
Where applicable, wear
a dust mask,
ear protection,
protective gloves and apron
to protect
the
operator against
small
particles
of abrasiv
e
or ma
terial
machined.
Eye
protection
must be
capable
of
catching flying
par
ticles
generated during
various
operations. Dust
masks
and
respir
atory
tract
protection should
collect
dust
par
ticles
gener
ated
during
operation.
Long-term
exposure
t
o
intensive
noise
can
result
in
hearing
loss.
g)
Keep
the
pow
er
cord away
from
rotating
tool
bits
.
In
case
of
losing c
ontrol ov
er the pow
er tool
, its pow
er cor
d can
be pulled in,
while
the
palm
or
the
hole hand
may
get
into
the
rotating
tool
bit.
h)
Immobiliz
e the object
to be
buffed properly
. Mak
e sure
its all
clamps
are
properly
secured
and
check
for
any
excessive
clearance.
Immobilizing
the
object
in
a
vice
or
a clamping
device
is
safer
than
holding
it
in
your
hand.
i)
Do
not switch
the
power
tool on
with
its disk
pointed
towards
the
operator
.
j)
Hold the power tool securely with both hands placed behind
the
main
handle
and
auxiliary
handle
and
stay
in
a
stable
position.
It
is
safer
to
move
the
power
tool
with
both
hands.
k)
Do not
c
arry the
power
tool when
it is
operating.
Any accidental
contact
of
tool bit
with clothes
may r
esult in
pulling it
in and
disk
contact
with
operator's
body.
l)
Always
disconnec
t
the machine
from
the mains
power
during
breaks
in
operation,
when
replacing
buffer
pads,
during
repairs,
cleaning
or
adjustment.
Ne
ver
put
the
power
tool
aside
unless its
tool bit
is completely
stopped.
A r
otating tool
bit
can
come
into
contact
with the
surface
it
ha
s
been put
down, which
may
result
in
losing c
ontrol
over
the
power
tool.
m)
Clean
the
power tool venting
holes on
a
regular basis.
Motor
fan
can
force
dust
into
the
casing
,
exc
essive
metal
dust
deposits
may
result
in
elec
tric
shock.
n)
Do
not
use
the
power tool
near flammable
materials.
Sparks
can
cause
ignition.
o)
Do not
use tool
bits that require
liquid coolants.
Using water
or
other
liquid
coolants
may
result
in
electric
shock.
p
)
Never
use a
tool
with damaged
cord.
Do not
touch
a damaged
cord;
if the
cord becomes
damaged during
work,
take out
the
plug
from
the
power
socket.
Damaged
cor
ds
increase
the
risk
of
electric
shock.
A
T
TENTION!
If
a
permanently

power cord becomes
damaged, it
must
be
replac
ed
with
a
