BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remo
ve all pack
aging material and any stick

om the appliance.

Thoroughly clean the bowl and the removable grid with hot wat
er, some washing-up liquid
and a non-abrasiv
e sponge.
Note: the bowl and the grid are dishw

3.
Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. The appliance works by
producing hot air. Do not fill the bowl (

) with oil or f

at.
PREP
ARING FOR USE
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surf
ace away f
rom water splashes.
2.
Insert the grid at the bottom of the bowl, up to the stop.
3.
Do not fill the bowl with oil or any other liquid.
Do not put anything on top of the appliance. This disrupts the airflow and aff
ects the hot
air frying r
esult.
IMPORT
ANT: T
o prevent the appliance f
rom overheating, do not place it in a corner or below
a wall cupboard. A gap of at least 15cm should be left around the appliance to allow air to
circulate.
USING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance can cook a large r
ange of recipes. Cooking times f
or the main foods are giv
en
in the section ‘Cooking Guide’. Enjo
y healthy and crispy dishes thanks to our wide variety of
recipes by flashing the QR code in the product stick
er.

2.
Place the food in the bo
wl.
Note: Nev
er exceed the maximum amount indicated in the t
able (see section ‘Cooking
Guide’), as this could affec
t the quality of the end result.
3.
Slide the bowl back into the appliance.
4.
T
o begin cooking, you must select one of the automatic cooking mode:
•
Press
button to display the cooking mode.
•
Then press
button on the screen to select the desired cooking mode
(these modes are described in detail in the “C
ooking guide” section).
•
If needed, adjust the cooking time by pressing the
button and adjusting the time with
the
and
buttons. The timer can be set f
or between 0 and 60 minut
es.

The thermostat varies f
rom 70-200°C.

5.
Excess oil f
rom the f
ood is collected in the bottom of the bowl.
6.
Some foods require shaking halfway thr
ough the cooking time (see section ‘Cooking Guide’).
T
o shake the f
ood, pull the bowl out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide
the bowl back into the appliance, the cooking restarts automatic
ally.
7.
When y
ou hear the timer sound, the cooking time set has finished. Pull the bowl out of the
appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surf
ace.
8.
Check if the f
ood is ready.
If the f
ood is not ready yet, simply slide the bowl back into the appliance and set the timer
f
or a f
ew extra minutes.
9.
When the food is cook
ed, tak
e out the bowl. T
o remove f
ood, use a pair of tongs to lift the
f
ood out of the bowl.
Caution
:
The bowl should nev
er be turn up side down with the grid.
After hot air frying, the bo
wl, the grid and the food ar
e very hot.
Caution: Do not touch the bowl during use and f
or some time after use, as it gets very
hot. Only hold the bowl by the handle.
10.
When a batch of f
ood is ready, the appliance is instantly ready f
or preparing another batch of f
ood.

liquids indicated in the instruction manual and in the recipes.

than halfway.

ood will require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger size f

MAKING HOME-MADE
CHIPS
If you want to mak
e home-made chips, f
ollow the steps below.
1.
Choose a variety of potato recommended f
or making chips. Peel the pot
atoes and cut them
into equal thickness chips.
2.
Soak the potato chips in cold w
ater f
or at least 30 minutes, dr
ain them and dry them with
a clean, highly absorbent tea towel. Then pat with paper kit
chen towel. The chips must be
thoroughly dry bef
ore cooking.
3.
Pour 1 tablespoon of oil (v
egetable, sunflow
er or olive) in a dry bowl, put the chips on top
and mix until they are coated with oil.
4.
Remov
e the chips f
rom the bowl with your fingers or a kitchen utensil so that an
y excess oil
stays behind in the bowl. Place the chips in the bowl.
Note: Do not tip the container of oil coated chips dir
ectly into the bowl in one go,
otherwise excess oil will end up at the bottom of the bowl.
5.
Fry the chips accor
ding to the instructions in the section Cooking guide.
CLEANING
Clean the appliance after every use.
The bowl and the grid hav
e a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or
abrasiv
e cleaning materials to clean them, as this may d
amage the nonstick coating.

Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Clean the bowl and grid with hot water, some washing-up liquid and a non-abr

Tip: If f
