IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please read this manual before you use the product for the rst me to get familiar
with its funcons and use them as designed.
1. Before you start using the device, read the manual and follow its guide-
lines. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damage arising
from the use at variance with its intended use or inappropriate operation.
The manual must be kept for future reference.
2. The device is intended for home use only. Do not use for other purposes
being at variance with its intended use.
3. The device must be connected to the socket with earthing, as specified in
the rating plate.
4. Check if the total consumption of power of all devices connected to the
wall outlet does not exceed the maximum safety device load.
5. If an extension cable is used, it is necessary to check if the total con-
sumption of power by the equipment connected to the extension cable
does not exceed the extension cable load parameters. The extension
cable must be positioned in a way that prevents accidental pulls and
stumbling.
6. Make sure the extension cable is earthed, 3-conductor with socket and
earthing pin.
7. Prevent a situation in which the feeder cable hangs above the edge of the
table or shelf, or comes into contact with hot surfaces.
8. The device is not intended for controlling by means of the external time-
-lag switch, separate remote control or other equipment able to activate
the device automatically.
9. Before any maintenance works, always disconnect the power supply.
10. When you disconnect the feeder cable, always grab a plug. Never pull a
cable because you may damage the plug or cable, in extreme cases it may
lead to electric shock and death.
11. Do not leave the connected device unattended.
12. Do not immerse the device in water or other liquid.
13. The device must be cleaned on a regular basis in accordance with guideli-
nes specified in the section dedicated to cleaning and maintenance.
EN 14. Do not place the device close to sources of heat, flames, electric heating
elements or on hot cooker. Do not place on any other device.
15. This device can be used by children aged at least 8 and by disabled
persons (physically or mentally), as well as persons who lack experience
in using the device provided that these persons have been supervised or
given guidelines on proper and safe use and potential hazards. Children
should not play with the equipment. Unattended children should not
clean and maintain the equipment.
16. Be careful when using the device if there are children or pets nearby.
Make sure children do not play with the device. Keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
17. Do not use the device close to inflammable materials.
18. Do not expose the device to unfavorable weather (rain, sun, etc.), and do
not use in humid places (bathrooms, humid summer houses).
19. Check condition of the feeder cable on a periodical basis. If the feeder
cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, authorized
service technicians or competent person in order to avoid hazards.
20. Do not use the device if its feeder cable is damaged, plug is damaged or if
the device has been dropped or otherwise damaged or works improperly.
Do not repair the device on your own as you may be electrocuted. Dama-
ged device must be handed to the relevant service point for checkup and
repairs. Any repairs must be performed by authorized service points only.
Improper repair may lead to serious hazard to the user.
21. Use original accessories or accessories recommended by the manufac-
turer.
22. Using accessories which have not been recommended by the manufac-
turer may lead to device damage and affect safety. The device must be
positioned on an even surface, resistant to temperature, far away from
inflammable materials (drapes, curtains, wallpapers, etc.). In order to assu-
re a suitable airflow, it is necessary to keep at least 10 cm of free space
on each side of the device and at least 30 cm above the device. Do not
cover ventilating holes of the device because it may lead to overheating
and damage.
23. Do not touch hot surfaces of the device. Use protective gloves for the
purposes of taking out and touching hot elements.
24. Do not put in any pieces which take too much space in the heating cham-
ber because it may lead to fire and damage to the device.
25. Do not place cardboard or paper goods, plastics and other inflammable
or fusible items in the device.
26. Clean the device after every use.
27. To clean the casing, do not use aggressive detergents, such as emulsions,
milk, polishes, etc. because they may remove graphic symbols, such as
scales, marking, warning signs, etc.
28. Do not use metal wires or other metal cleaning agents. Broken parts of
wires may contact electric parts and lead to electric shock risk.
29. Due to high temperature, it is necessary to be careful when removing
ready meals, removing hot fat and other hot liquids of accessories and
components of the device.
30. Do not use metal cutlery or other sharp kitchen accessories as they may

scratch Teflon layer in the basket and reservoir.
31. Do not fill deep fryer with oil or other fat. Knapper uses hot air for
frying.
32. Do not switch the device on when the reservoir is filled with water or
other liquid.
